A cold wind blows through the valley in which Karovia resides, the distant howl of a wolf breaking the silence of the night as a dark veil is draped over the sleeping town, it's inhabitants unaware of the malevolent act committed this night. A crow as black as the night itself lands upon the shoulder of a young man, though he does not feel it. His cold dead eyes stare absentmindedly into space, his limbs cold and stiff on this winter night. A coarse piece of fraying rope tightly bound around his neck secures him in place, his body hung from the roof of the church.

The mans arms and legs hang loosely, his gaze set on the stars above, a pleading look in his eyes, a look asking for mercy. Though it is clear that no mercy was received in those final moments of his life.

A river of crimson red flows from his slit wrists, running down the front of the church into a pool on the ground.

The corpse of the young man is flayed in places, and in the center of his chest a symbol is carved. A symbol of the Eye of Iblees. Below the gruesome and horrific display is a message, painted in the lifeblood of the tortured victim.

To those that read it, it is clearly a warning.

"Aleksandr Carrion, heed these words. For too long have you lived in ignorant bliss, hiding away from the troubles of these ailing lands, lands that the Dark Lord will inevitably consume. The Inquisitor watches you Aleksandr.. waiting for the time strike at all you hold dear. You can run. You can hide. But know, that whatever you do.. your days in this world are numbered."

The crow resting upon the shoulder of the mutilated corpse caws once into the midnight sky before flying off into the distnace, leaving the warning behind.

Bogdan promptly takes the body off the church and crucifies the manly remains of what once was a cultis. "Considering cultist scream like little girl while Bogdan dismember him, your threat is unreal."

Father Kristoff quickly grabs the aspergilium dunking it in holy water and blessing the town hoping that this will keep all the unholy spooks at bay.

Harald Vanir II, also known as "Two Beard" sharpens his sword and grooms his beard looking at a den full of angry chickens saying "Edgy chetnik undead man seeks to make of kill of Karovia, he will get a Harald stew.." He then goes to squat a chicken.

Wilbury stares at the corpse for a moment and reads the message sent by the cultist. After a few moments of silence, he simply shrugs and walks away,

"Things like this will continue to happen as long as Oren doesn't act against the Khorvadic base in the captured dwarven city at this moment. This would leave the Undead no room to launch a well organized attack," Wilbury said. He suddenly began to phase in and out for some reason,

"And I suppose they will realize this soon, one way or another.." Then within a fragment of a second, the illusory construct of Wilbury had vanished.

*The Watcher sees the corpse hanging on the church and lets out a low chuckle. He then turns and walks away the blood of the man marking his footsteps as he walks down the road.
