As the fire began to die down, and the rhythmic hum beginning to subside, the dwarven King, Fimlin Grandaxe retreats to his pavilion. He sits himself upon a smooth, dark, oaken table, and reaches for his quill and a nearby inkpot. He takes a parchment and dips his quill into the inkpot, slowly bringing his hand forthwith the pool of black. He brings the quill to the parchment, writing an order to the people who lived within the Lordship of Hiebenhall. He handed the parchment to one of his remembrancer pupils, telling him to read aloud the order to the people.

It was only mere minutes before the King heard what he had been waiting for, the simple and hypnotizing sound of hammer meeting anvil. He stepped forth from within the pavilion and looked at what he had commanded. Countless hammers striking numerous anvils, forging only the strongest axes and armor fit for none but a dwarf. Smoke clouded the once clear night sky, ash glided into the beards of those nearby like snow in a blizzard. The forges burned bright with the light of heated metal, countless sounds of hammering and hissing filled the air with a frightening clamor. Old banners were torn down and the orange and gray of the Kingdom of Urguan stood proudly above the sea of fiery ashes below.  with the banners looming above them, the dwarves hammered and shaped their weapons and armor with an unprecedented passion, and an unquenchable courage. These powerful emotions, however came from within another, much stronger emotion, a great desire to defy the odds that were against them, to defy the very God that is the root of if all. The force that had inspired the dwarves to do such was nothing but defiance.

Kardel looks at his reagents, all bottled in different sized pots and jars. sitting upon their stone shelves below the Celestial Spire in Hiebenhall. The old dwarf smiled, as he shed off his left glove, the leather rubbing against his hand's wrinkled skin. He ran his hand along the contours of the pots and jars, closing his eyes, feeling every curve, depression, rise, and bend of the ceramics. Kardel knew every single reagent by the touch of these pots; he had not changed them in over 50 years of alchemy. Serpent's Stalk, Tippen's Root, Singed Kha, Crimson Vase. . .and, ah. . .what's this?

Kardel lifted his eyelids, his amber eyes shining from beneath them like two small sparkling pearls, within them an air of curiosity. He turned his head, and looked at the glass jars full of his most precious reagents. He did not know why the pale man had given these to him. . .but Kardel had fulfilled his end of the bargain. The man's package was being delivered to him at that very moment. Nontheless. . .these reagents sent a shiver up the pale dwarf's spine.

Live Troll's Bone. . .Cameroceros Tentacle. . .Gargoyle Wing. . .and, ah! My namesake, the reason why they call me the Fire Alchemist. . .Blazelord Skull!

Kardel smiled at the reagents. The remaining Giant Jellyfish body floated in a large jar of sea water, letting off a weak fluorescent light. His smile simply widened, as he looked at his exquisite reagent collection.

Soon. . .soon they shall realize why so many fear me. If it shall be a battle of fire and ice, then let is be seen how the Fire turns their Ice into steam.
