Cappy, do you hereby recant your desire for lewd art that certain individuals have found? That is all I ask, then I shall back you. We've butted heads before, but oddly I've found myself agreeing with you in certain situations.

OMEGA GOOD JOB !

Out of the current Global Moderator team, Cappy was the best choice coming and that's honestly fact, then again you do speak about removing inactive admins... I believe some people (including me) were expecting Urasept to be removed, but hey hopefully this will kick his butt into gear!

I'm not afraid to say anything, and here I'll speak my mind.

Countless moments in which 10 people will face palm in unison, and situations involving Cappy that make me cringe.

I agree with this and I wonder if I'm going to be facing punishment for openly speaking out about it...

If someone punished you for that I would punish them just as quick. Most people find that they have to become a GM before they realize that Cappy isn't actually so bad.

That's terrible that Cappy is seen well by only the GM team and a few players who've been on it/know him ooc. Not really a smart choice IMO but I can't argue.

Unfortunately, -1

When pinpointing what is wrong with the GM team previously, Cappy has been an excellent example. His knowledge or skill with whatever commands he has access to, and his dedication in time and effort, are excellent reasons to have him on the staff. Frankly, though, Cappy has shown that he is incapable or unwilling to propagate enjoyment of the other players of the server.

It is not "bluntness," it is blatant and ludicrous unhelpfulness. No one wants Cappy to answer their modreq because they all know it will take 15 minutes to explain to him what they need done and why they should be allowed to get it done. He is a hassle to the players, and furthermore seems to make a habit out of banning people.

Certain people certainly deserve the bans they recieved from Cappy, but on numerous accounts they did not, and on many more they deserved a much more lenient punishment than they recieved. The key word for some of Cappy's less-than-worthy bans being 'Toxicity.' An ambiguous word which can be twisted in any which way to suit the needs of the moderator.

That being said, perhaps in an administrative position Cappy will instead crack down hard on the moderators as opposed to the players (something I believe has been needed for quite some time), and be distanced from the day-to-day on LotC; Cappy's involvement in which being dreaded by a large number of players on the server. And no, not just Oren.

PS. I do not doubt Cappy is a great guy once you get to know him, I know many people dislike me until they actually get to know me. It is not his character I am judging, but his methods.

That doesn't sound very positive as 75% of the server will not be a GM.

-1 I believe Cappy is not level headed enough for the position, and is the center of nearly all criticism for the GM team.

My thoughts exactly, I really don't agree with the promotion, and I hope this post isn't deleted, as I've seen others deleted before. When tons of the playerbase describe a GM as 'ban happy' (even the ones that like the GM), then it is not a person you want to be an admin, or even a staff member. A staff member should be reluctant to ban players in most cases, just because there is a large playerbase does not mean this should change.

I swear the admin and GM team work for the player base, but its ok we hardily ever get listened to anyway...

Urasept is VERY active actually, you just have to actually know what he is doing to know... difficult cycle...

If you've ever been a part of a #1 guild on any game, where a superior group of players are in some way greater than the majority of other players, there will be those who show a heartedly side of them to those around them, but will exert a sense of disrespect toward those below them, and Cappy, is one of those people. Though this isn't an MMO, the concept is very true across multiple settings.
