To elves of Laureh'lin a message is distributed written in the ancient tongue. Its text glows silver, the writing of an elf long thought forgotten.

Ouity finds one such flyer on the forest floor of the mysterious woods bordering the once Silver City.picking it up curiously to read, he soon roars in annoyance, scattering birds as his reading glasses fail him for the thousandth time. He crumples the copy in disgust, hoping that one day he can dance on the grave of this vexing language.

Isabella drapes her arms over Ouity's shoulders, patting him comfortingly while whispering sweet nothings to him in elven with a sly grin.

" Our ancestors abandoned the tongue for good reasons. It's best we heed their demands and continue to follow the path they did, else we shame ourselves in their eyes."

"The ancestors willed it"

Mizz, rather angerly, leaves the scene and goes find a place to do dark elf things, like manipulating his faith to avoid learning an unnecessary language.

Elorna simply gives a quiet sigh as she reads over the letter sent to her husband, trying to keep it out of her infant daughter's reach. She squints. "Is he saying we should cut off his head, to be rid of the high elven snake...?"

"That doesn't' sound very Elven too me."

Kalameet blinks rapidly.

Alakagh, wearing full armor including a helm, picked up one of the flyers on the road just outside of Annil'sul. He squinted at it for a moment and then sighed.

"This is worse than Yriel's calligraphy."

He tossed the flyer aside and entered the main square in Annil'sul.

OOC:

Alakagh's wearing a helm due to a prank. Anyways, is it an actual flyer for all elves to see? If not, then please delete my post.

A cloaked Elfess tries to surpress the onset of a smile. "Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya," she whispers to herself. "The Naysayer may show his greatest feat yet."

Phaedrus squints at the parchment, lips pursed beneath his beard. Finally he releases a small sigh, looking back up to Elorna.

"Using the ancient language to simply convey threats... It seems nothing is sacred to them. I've already told Andria they are free to return as they please, the only thing that will be different is the lack of special treatment."

Phaedrus sets the parchment down afterwards, rubbing a hand across his face before releasing yet another sigh.

"For supposed intellectuals they really do fail to grasp the bigger picture. For mali'aheral, though, this is really nothing new."
