Horses Dying Constantly

Alright, so due to this plugin, I have lost over 90 horses total, 20 first time, 20 second time, 40 just the other day, and 15 today. Now as I'm the main person that supplys horses to Athera theres an issue here, horses don't just spawn, they aren't wild, my doneys aren't just going to show back up.

 

HOWEVER this animal killing plugin, is so easily abused, I can breed 50 animals in a region, and kill ALL.

 

Or I could go spam breed next to a group of horses and kill them all, because horses die FIRST.  

 

Another issue, Mods don't respawn, the horse list glitches so you can't unprotect until restarts, and the list goes on.

 

My proposal, is remove the animal death plugin, and if you need a new plugin, give us my horse.  

 

However things can't go on this way, I had a cow pen next to Jades bakery, and my animals constantly slaughtered hers.  I've had people over breed and kill my horses, EVEN when not in my region.  

 

And GM's don't refund.  Even though hey I just lost 20, can I just have 2?  I'm lucky if I get one.  

 

If there was a way to say hey, pay 500-1000 mina for the horses you want refunded, I'd do that, because that would mean at least I could keep my horse business running, and other breeders who have this same issue do too.

Personally, I don't think breeding should have ever been apart of nexus. It's just too easy to break.

 

I'm all for removing it.

It's due for not playing too much hay blocks. They do not only need hay around, but also hay to feed themselves, if you go do an experiment about that. Have five horses, and a stash of hay placed down, and the stash of hay will slowly dissapear, the horses feeding from it. Same for any other animals.

Horses don't need hay actually.

 

I had hay in all of my stables and it never once got touched.  But I also didn't allow animals in the region.

That doesn't seem to go for Horses, but for other animals yes.

That part of the plugin requires work in my opinion. I am not against requirements of haybales or such and animal density. But it should probably reworked a bit.

 

Otherwise remove animal density and increase breeding and growing time of animals as a whole? Solutions are plentiful.

I don't mind the breeding, but the fact that it kills animals if they are to many.  Which means that my horses are always at risk of underground chicken breeders.

Please give some sort of indication of how many animals can be supported by the current amount of hay in the area. A tool or way to check, something. Would let people know if they can start up a breeding pen in this area or not. Maybe use a training stick on the ground and it will tell you how many animals are already in this area, how many more can be added with the current amount of hay, something like that.

 

It's horrid for horse breeders since finding replacements of them in the wild is impossible.

 

Otherwise I have fun with breeding, an interesting little profession.

 

I just want a couple more chickens and cows, a warning if this would make them all drop dead would be lovely.

Keep breeding as a skill, remove the animal "sickness" nonsense. It's incredibly difficult to keep animals as-is.

 

Bring back horsekeep too, or specifically just /horse TP. I miss that.
