Kryllaal stomps into San'Vitar, not noticing Wun having fun with his own giant spider. He grunts when he reaches his cave, pulling a handful of warm fish out of a sack and dropping them into a pile of other rotting foodstuffs. He frowns as he does so, noticing that the pile is wriggling more than usual, even though there aren't many maggots. He snorts, and pushes the top half of the pile over, and rotting food spills across the cave floor. Kryllaal blinks several times, taken aback by the spider underneath quickly retreating into the skull of an eagle. Next to it lays a raw, partially eaten, fish. He scratches a tusk, with an amused smile on his face, and leans down to pick up a fresh piece of meat from the counter. He sits on the floor, and pokes at the skull with the steak, grumbling happily as the spider slowly crawls out and begins to eat the meat. After finishing this, the spider crawls part-way up Kryllaal, and then onto the counter to carry on eating the steak that's there. It appears that Kryllaal had made a new friend.

5 Small spiders, with empty egg shells upon their backs.

Xirena hums a little tune to herself as she moves about the barns of Werdenberg. On this day three chickens find their way to the chopping block and she holds onto their legs as she enters the cow barn to check on their supplies of hay. A calf sniffs and huffs at something in the corner of the warm building, it's attention thoroughly occupied by the thing it's found. From the other side of the room it looks to be a rock though as she moves closer Xirena determines that it looks more like an egg. A chicken couldn't get into this barn so she quickly rules that out, perhaps a bird flew in one of the upper openings and carelessly laid this here?

She gets closer and crouches down to peer at this odd discovery just in time to see a thin leg poke out from under the shell. This just makes her even more curious but the spider seems to have noticed what's in her hand and the moment one of the chickens touches the ground it darts forward. As Xirena stands up she laughs at the sight of the spider still clinging to the chicken. Reminded of the pets her mother had kept when she was little she heads into her home, a few feathers falling onto the ground behind her as the spider works on getting to the meat.

Carefully she places the chickens down on her table and goes to the nearby shelf. A large cookie jar has it's contents quickly dumped out, after all this is more important! Well... She puts the cookies in a spot where they'll be fine until she can get another container. One of the two spider-free chickens is quickly plucked and cut up, Xirena watching her little guest eat all the while to make sure it doesn't run off. She lays the cookie jar on it's side and places the food inside except for the two wing pieces. One of these she dangles in front of the spider until it notices that a much easier meal is being offered than the one it has still covered in feathers. It quickly devours the wing and then looks up, wondering if another easy meal will descend from the sky.

This time Xirena holds the wing just out of reach and wiggles it around to get the little spider's attention. A leg reaches for the meat and once she sees that she tosses it into the cookie jar with baited breath as she hopes the little one will follow.

((Jolly good! You have it! :) ))

((Very pleasing, but I don't know which spider you want! You will get it once you specify :)

((This is good! I'll put this out here now; the reason why I don't RP the response of the spiders is because I will not be there to RP the spider for you xD. You get one of the five, small spiders, as I guess you wanted that?))

((Nah, the original spider I was after was "A small-medium spider, with golden-banded legs and a cold blue shape, like a sword, upon its back. It has a Bird of prey's skull." I quoted it in my original post, but forgot to for the repeat one.))

Deep within the ruins of an ancient citadel named Amthuandz,

few things are able to survive within. Not because of it's conditions,

but it's inhabitants. Spirits from around the realm gather here to confer

with one another, and dictate with their council to do what is the best

in favor of those of spectrality. Living beings who enter this place without

special invitation by the Engraved, or other higher members of the Court

are attacked and usually killed upon sight.

Radac sits at his workshop desk, drawing out complex arts, mostly involving

technology, but today he went with a simpler task, attempting to find a mathematically

constant surface... Should anybody care.

He turned to the sound of the lift from the lower facility moan, slowly

ascending up the metal-adorned shaft.

But something struck him as odd. Before the lift finally reached the floor he was on, a skull

skittered across the stone flooring, it's legs clacking against the bricks as it headed beneath

his desk, after which he stood up.

Radac peered under his desk as the lift finally reached the top floor, a relatively angry appearing

spectre departing from it walking in the direction of Radac.

"Radac, move aside, I am going to kill that thing!" The spectre said.

"Celouc, correct your misnomer."

The spectre flinched, hearing this, "My apologies, Lord."

Radac nodded. "Now, what is the problem here?"

"I finally managed to locate my skull, and here this spider is living inside of it!"

He says, a great deal of acrimony heard in his tone.

"I see no harm in this, you're dead, no longer have you dependencies on your

bones or vital organs.."

"But, Sir-"  He attempts to say.

"But nothing."  He interjects.

"Let the creature enjoy his new domicile."

The spectre almost spoke against this, huffing.

"Very well..."

The spectre turns and leaves back down the lift,

it's platform screeching as it descends back down

into the earth.

Radac knelt down, placing a hand on the skull and pulling

it back out from under his desk, chuckling.

"Well, little creature... To spare you from a messy dissection,

I suppose I can employ you to handle any pests that claim this

place as their home... First thing is first, time to send you in

where they collect most."  He said, grasping the brazen louvers of

a vent tube, pulling them open and placing the skull-spider in.

"One way in that vent, one way out... Come back once you've

cleared out any rats that may be inside... Well you most likely

can not understand me, but if you want out once more, you'll

know where to go."  He closed the vent opening, as the spider

began skittering off into the metal piping.

((That was great! Very, very nicely written. Here, have this:

You have my permission to add a single 'ghostly' customisation to the spider. What can I say, good writing is not without reward! Please send me a PM regarding the customisation.

This applies to the others who want a spider and write a good post, from now on.))

Applying for - A hatchling spider still in the eggshell <3

--------------------------

A low mist hung over the cool night in the frozen north within the town of Nerezza.

Wolves song floated along in the breeze as the moon hung lazily in the star scattered skies, the only sound unnatural in the night was the soft crunch of petite leather boots upon the frosted grass outside the stony keep.

Vivianne hummed to herself quietly as she made her way towards the cliffside outside the keep, a leather sack slung over her shoulder. Her light blue glow easily lit the way she needed to walk in the eerie night, as she made her way up the slightly steep hill that she often traveled to reach the place she was headed.

It had been a few nights since she had fed the bears of the small cave she was headed to, and the sack over her shoulder smelled of freshly cut raw meats.

She sighed lightly as she looked down into the cave that twisted in a slight descent in the stony wall of the cliffside, and she carefully made her way inside, smiling as she listened to the sound of the soft snoring of three bear cubs.

She kneeled by them where they lay, curled upon a soft bedding made of animal pelts, and she took out the large portions of meat, setting them to the side.

As she picked up a few bones from some of the cubs' previous meals, she wasn't entirely paying attention to where she was stepping, and her foot nudged against  a small rock. The rock went skittering down into the cave, and the sound was followed by one that caught her attention.

She quickly glanced to her left as she saw the source, a small critter of some sort, from the portion of a glimpse she had caught.

She tread lightly as she went towards where it had disappeared, only to find the critter having stuffed itself into a corner no bigger than a foothole, it's fuzzy legs barely able to fit inside the hatchling shell it was using as it's little home.

She furrowed her brow at the sight of the poor thing, setting down the sack gently as she reached into her small satchel, pulling out a decent sized jar, dumping the mint leaves it was holding and sticking a piece of the meat from the sack inside.

Carefully, she slid the jar on it's side until it was a comfortable distance from the little spider, and she slowly backed away a good fot or two. There, she sat upon the cold stone floor, drawing her knees to her chest, and she began to wait.

For what seemed like at least an hours time, she watched the spider slowly inch out of it's eggshell, taking cautious, twitchy steps towards the suspicious free meal that had been placed before it, but her patience would not run out on her with such a rare creature.

Eventually, the spider indeed ventured bravely into the jar, snatching the piece of meat up into it's maw, and she waited for a few more moments. She waited until she could see the spider begin to chew, as she knew he was frozen, waiting for something to happen. Once it began to move the meat around in it's maw and chew she inched forward, and placed the cap upon the jar.

Smiling warmly at the creature within, she quietly squeed with joy to herself before picking up her things, and carefully exiting the cave.

The first thought in her head to find Radac and show him her little friend, and of course, Ahrkanch too.
