A Proposal To The Nations

*An familiar old looking man would seemingly try to get the attention of many among the Nobility of each nation, failing to find many around at the present time ((GMT times be damned)) He resorts to leaving a letter at their homes instead.*

"Dear Lord, Lady, King or Noblemen.

It has become apparent that the Nation's have recently proposed a treaty, or unity act, I commend this effort but I come to you not because of that but with an idea regarding one of your lesser acts regarding the laws and use of Dark Magic.

I agree that this is a problem that has become rife within the world, with many would be mages and Warlocks falling foul into the arts most terrible. The Acts of Necromancy, shadism or even cults related to Iblees. I am afraid however you might not grasp how serious and numerous this problem is. There are far too many to keep track of to have one Nation working alone within their boarders. No.

What I propose is the construction of a new structure, the likes of which our world has never seen. A grand prison created solely for those whom practice dark sorceries within the world. Laced with magical wards both holy and otherwise to nullify their abilities as sorcerers and keep our lands safe.

However, this is not a vision one man nor one group of men can fulfil. This vision will require the inclusion and co-operation of many magical orders, mainly the Clerics and my Kin as well as militarial orders and architects within the nations in order to fully realise this idea. It is, in my opinion, the greatest way to deal with the current threat that is internal magical corruption of a Dark and vile kind within the realms.

I would ask that you would consider this proposal, and perhaps meet with me to Discuss this.

With Sincere Regards

Blundermore WindRaker"

((This is me trying to follow progression of RP that recent events have caused to happen, might be fun making a prison. :) ))

((Would this just be nobles or would the Clerics be receiving copies as well, since we are mentioned being needed and whatnot?))

((That will come later probably, without the nation's backing it's kinda pointless anyways))

((As one of the higher-up Necromancers, I can say that we would be glad for any roleplay or events. Please add me on Skype to discuss this. My Skype is parkins_ ))

((I know it's very tempting to put in an OOC message but I must ask that from now on this is kept to a strictly RP basis as per Roleplay forum rules, if you have something you wish to bring up feel free to message myself or one of the nation leaders about it, I invite the leaders to respond in their own time when they can.))

A letter would be sent in return, baring the seal of Renatus.

"Dear Blundermore WindRaker

This concept you've seemed to procured is by no means a new idea, in fact I've also played with the thought myself. I've also recently have come to the means of accomplish such a task, as First Enchanter of Renatus. I intend on constructing not only a prison, however. Instead a fully functioning Order to seek these Dark users, restrain them, then tasked to guard their holding cell. If you're truly intent on this prison to hold nefarious magical users, then I'd suggest further contacting me regarding this subject. The Vaults will contain these despicable beasts within its darkest depths.

Yours truly,

- First Enchanter Kalameet Izalith"

((For the longest time I've wanted to see a prison like thing that juts off into the void to the west. This prison sounds awesome, as does the prospect of an order dedicated to acting a jailors and hunters of dark arts users - however, I wonder how one would maintain activity for the prison's inhabitants. It would not make RP sense to house dozens of magical prisoners in a general population area, so are prisoners expected to just stay AFK in their cells or only log on for attempted rescues by their compatriots? Don't mistake this as a dismissal of the idea, I'd love to see something like this work.))

"Dear Kalameet Izalith

I actually started thinking of this idea back in Asulon, whilst working with King Godfrey on a matter pertaining to an inccident that occurred in one of the outlying counties, though I assume you would not know of these events, as such I won't bore you with details. However a prison such as this will require the co-operation of all of the major governing Nations and Races in order to work, I do not mean to disrespect your work towards creating these "vaults" for Renatus but a more neutral entity I believe is required in order for the nations to be happy with the idea. I look forward to hearing a response from King Maric or one of his hand's when time would permit such.

Regards Blundermore WindRaker."

"Wub bout da zhamanz?" says Rusk.

((would this be sent back or is it just said outloud? Just edit your post Burk with the answer))

((It could be used for events, but it is my hope that if this idea picks off the ground the population will be self regulating in activity much like a small town, perhaps giving opportunities for guard and prisoner RP with the help of the ET to keep things spiced up.))

Hu-din stops Blundermore the next time he sees him. He speaks, "Mi wull hulp latz. Unli uf da pruzun uz naymed uftar da zpurut uf Ruzk'z chuuzung. Mi ulug bruddaz hulp latz buld hozh pruzun dat pinkehz und ztoutz und twiggehz nub'kun buld."

I litterally have been designing a prison for so long to store dark mages and necros and cultists in, so dis is now awkward XD

Btw, are you looking into guards and such for a prison. Because prison rp sounds fun in general, cultist or no cultist. This idea could turn out to be really fun events like once every two weeks or so.

(( Um..  I like the thought but ... I could see this idea failing as the people would just switch characters.. or simply soul stone out of the Prisons unless you had like tones of gold soulstone pillars around and then you would have to provide Role play to all of your inmates once every 30 minutes otherwise they would not have to be forced to be confided in that cell and could ask a mod to tp them back to spawn.

Another thing.. is that the other necromancers could simply kill each other in order for them to free each other from that place and boom from spawn where you can not get them they could then soul stone back to their hideouts to plan and continue their evil rp (which i have nothing against).

Along with a Third thing.. With the region Plot thing you would have to get a Crazy big plot and have ALL those people active All the time in order to stop people from being able to simply emote mining their way out of jail. and then You would have to make sure that these players that are oocly ok with this prison rp do not just get harassment rp for being in jail... NOW If this system was put out for all people that did crimes then you would have come nice role play in jails. ))

((@Primrose

Some people would be excited for prison rp (ME!!!!!!) If this idea goes through, the nations would probs have it be for all prisoners. The uruks would probs just hop in and make their own territory and own da prison in the matter of minutes. The people that would allow themselves to be captured would be interested in the prison rp there is a possibility for (ME!!!!!!!)

((I enjoy the thought of rping that for a while. People who want to stay, can stay. People who want out can just change characters or SS. Want to put a character on the shelf for a while? Put them in that prison. If such a thing had already existed, I know that a great many of my friends would have used it as a good way to put their character on the shelf. If it came to exist, I could easily collaberate jail-break based events with it.))

The Boogie Man "Booooo's!" at Blundermore's letter after he 'accidently' found one, throwing puppets at it where one of them would even explode. He yelps back and runs off like the puppet he is. laughing crazily and sometimes stumbling over tiny stones.

((Prisonbreak, hehehe))
