Why No Zer0 Stuff?

Alright Yes I know why  I was denied. It's not a big deal. I'll explain and for the lover of good DO NOT ATTACK THE MESSENGERS. I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus. Not my style. Lets begin..

 

 

 

                 

 

Guys, Its fine I became MT to do animations for LOTC, what you do know is there has not been one fully completed  and posted animation on the server since I've been on the team. Yes I did music and 3d art for everyone who request.

 

 

 

 

I did do the most important thing that I was accepted in the team for. Animation. As I said or some would know about the animations it can be VERY VERY VERY AND DANGEROUS to ones computer or laptop. As a big draw back for one to successful make an animation, Its a very long process and very hard to do. Many risk comes with animating some many do not know. 

 

Alright, when I did my first animation in my life and got accepted into the Media Team, It literally destroyed my laptop. It drained so much of my CPU usage of my laptop, I had to keep it running for an entire week just to render a simply 15 second animation. 100% usage non stop to render it out. For 15 secs? really? At the end I had to get a new laptop. Yes thinking of processing a Frame using very high quality at my time which I look at it now I would throw up and punch myself in the face for making it. I really hate how it turned out but at the same time I was proud of my work.

 

Here's the hard part that uses math and lots of time.

 

30 frames is one second

 

multiply that by 2 and so on.

 

Think if I was to make a 1-4 minute animation.

 

Alright this is the fun part. 1 minute is 60 seconds. 

 

30x 60 = 1,800 

 

30 x 120 = 3,600 

 

I can go on with this math but it doesn't help my case or the render. 

 

and to had the framerate to be turned into a video from 24-30 frames. (The lower to 24 is less frames, the higher smooths out the animation.) 

 

Alright now that you have idea. If I was to render that again on this I would lost another laptop and wouldn't have learned my lesson. 

 

So which brings the question to you all.  Zer0 why have you been doing all these rendered pictures but not an animation. Why are you still here? Have you done ANYTHING for the server besides to these arts. Yes I have. I was working on this animation behind the shadows, I had Finalhazard to render these for me and it took a FULL week for him to maybe get 2 of these scenes. It was a long render just for only 3-5 seconds of scenes. Why ? because I made it on the best quality I can have it to. I wanted to make a good animation.

 

My big problem was finding someone that can render my animations and risk their CPU and cooling system in their computers. 

 

So heres my only Animations I have done for the server.

Alright, I understand this and feel no hate from or towards. I came on the team to do animations and was accepted for it, but I feel I failed to do what I was accepted to do. Yes from this path and year of being an MT and learning SO many things than I thought I'd never learn or find out. 

 

And guess whos reason I have grown better in my animations and creations.

It was everyone in LOTC , All of you that made me better and work harder. So I thank you guys for the push.

Zer0, Are you leaving LOTC because of this ?

Zer0, you've been a pleasure to work with and easily one of the best people on the server. Even with this happening to you, you still manage to smile and help everyone else out along the way. I hope you get even better at these animations, because you'd be amazing at it, like, a genius.

I find this animating melting your computer thing very hard to believe. It does not take a week for a computer to make 450 images. You're suggesting your computer takes 22.5 minutes to render one frame. Unless there's some crazy thing you're doing that shouldn't be happening.

And no matter how long it takes, actually destroying your laptop? Unless you overclocked it into oblivion they're built to take whatever you throw at them, at least for as long as the warranty lasts.
