ℤ∃ʁ∅ 823 Share Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Minecraft name: _Zer0 Skype ID: Zer0 Timezone: CST Have you had any bans or strikes? If yes give a link: N/A Why do you want to be both a builder and an actor for the ET? Well, rather simple for me to say. I’ve been told by some I am good at roleplaying and compatible to be on the tea, but the other say I’m good at building. So why not try out for both? But reason I want to be a builder because I do have ideas for future events if I was ET. For actor, I have been making creature lores lately, but I have been told if I wanted to have them roleplayed with I would be best to try ET and play them. I would do give fun and random events for players to pass the time. What are some of your most treasured builds? I was in the Media Team for an entire year but was purged due to not being needed. What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member? Ramza Mantisuku, Prishe, Zaki Well I have a child character that I really don’t play him, so he can go. Pick three of the following building styles, and show us a build, of yours, that corresponds to each choice.(terraforming, organic, medieval, high fantasy, underground) Terra http://gyazo.com/e39ecc54cc9b4de11c6ed3e0324d7202 http://gyazo.com/a835ec2eaa10383b10e8c33dcfe4dd21 Organic http://gyazo.com/ca737be0a8152579b6e507d9bf0b6354 http://gyazo.com/f5db6183cb361107ec6cfc6e3e12d69c http://gyazo.com/1114319b64a04b8ce4daefe2b8969297 Fantasy http://gyazo.com/48194d3122903b1b508b65684d780166 http://gyazo.com/e99cd7c80d94900b6c50fb77186f12d4 http://gyazo.com/74a3edf19c5b574f913307b58a149267 http://gyazo.com/db3606a2a01f3c8745e8b79454241cbb http://gyazo.com/8fc90c7929f18cbbd54460c3c0554e66 http://gyazo.com/a7b3eb8b8b368c20993bae4ddb6ec4dc http://gyazo.com/4e741f9765c798711b3f136165fa4dd6 http://gyazo.com/32fa4ffc0abdc22eef3e3ec6644d5187 http://gyazo.com/8f952cf11a3df08485f65f5cb61e56a7 Latest builds for the wood elves they can comment on it. I am, on smaller and medium builds but if teamwork is needed I would help if I was given a part. Create two distinct RP scenarios/events that are based on the lore of LOTC, and that you would organize. 1) For a group of 5-10 I’m not good at FULLY explaining events, because I like the events to change due to players choices which can lead to different outcomes which I could possible think of during the event on the spot for something enjoyable. (https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/120966-sparkling-howl-of-the-night/ This was a planned for Fiandria in the elven area.) In the area of the Fiandria forest by the elves, the large creature would roam around the area. As normal strange things coming to a new place, hungry , curious and adventurous. The creature stumbles into the elven town, searching for something to play with. The normal reaction of the guards and citizens would be to try and kill it, little that they know the creature is nothing compared to a simple deer. This creature is much more than any being has seen in their lives, once provoked by something its ambition is to have a fun hunt as you are its prey now. ((Creature lore here ←) Now the event would turn into a battle of fending off the creature to have it flee the city or kill it. The event would be a long RP fight due to being a tough creature that thrives on hunting and its size. If the group is to have it flee, the creature would come back to cause terror once more but not lighten up. If the group is to kill the creature, they would be able to use the materials gathered from the creature for future events or work. 2) For a group of 20+ Another creature event - https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/121573-creature-lore-plaklatras/ King of the Mountain A rumor of a large creature in the mountains in the north of Athera. Some of the leaders send a group of hunters are out to hunt the creature to keep their lands from terror or ignore the rumor. How long does it take for you to complete a build? It really depends on what and how the build is being made, and how late I am from work. Takes a few hours depending on what is made, I’m more of small to medium type of builder. Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build. For all builds I always go with blueprints and trail n error, choosing what to find and build. Or I’ll find a picture. For all my builds, I would start with a good outline and area for future expansion. Which only takes a few minutes. After I work on the outline I go for the outerior and after I would go into the interior and after that I would get into future detail. Outline → trial error → build → Detail Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...): I do know a lot of World Edit, I do most my builds using world edit and edit from there , makes my building faster when I need to add detail. Craftbook, I do know how to use the plugin from server. I do know that LOTC has some of the mechs from the plugin are disabled. How long do you plan to stay in the ET? Until I am no longer needed to be honest. Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads) Adding a trick to adding many things to an item frame like so. Making decorations Tell me what you want from the ET: Really nothing I want.. I would just like to make scenarios that others will enjoy, being that I like to roleplay and on mostly more time than usual. Even though there aren’t many events going on I’d love to make even small events happen just to pass the time and others will enjoy. EDIT: Well Since i guess I should make it more clear. I am really applying for Actor, reason I did both is because. If I was to be accepted as an actor making events, it would be good if I can build my own set/scenery for my events. I know my builds would probably never fit with the big events works. But the server's events doesn't have to ALWAYS BE about big events. Mostly just enjoyable topics of how this event happened and such. That's what I want to express as an ET member. hope that helps to my reason on applying to the team. :) Edited February 6, 2015 by ℤ∃ʁ∅
Avacyn 1712 Share Posted January 25, 2015 gonna have to say no to these builds, rather sub-par unfortunately too neat and cuboid, not a lot of naturalism or texturing going on. try using the default pack, too, and looking at real-world architecture from many different historical periods for some inspiration. -1 until your work improves
monkeypoacher 8055 Share Posted January 25, 2015 I like your terraforming but your buildings seem a bit lacklustre. Ditto on what moogle said. +1 as an actor tho

Genevieveee 234 Share Posted January 25, 2015 +1 Although theres always room for improvement, I think Zer0 would be a great builder. I had lived in the mansion he had built, and I thought it looked really nice! I think his strong points in building are interior decorations, and designing the basics of the build. He thinks of lots of little details to add in to his taverns and houses that add more character to them, and make them more realistic and fun. And since this is an Event .Team. i'm sure he could get advice from the others, which would help him improve quickly on his weak spots. Also as an actor, its extremely fitting for him. He provides great RP, even to not-that-great Rp'ers like myself. I'm sure everyone would enjoy it.
SpiltMemes 368 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Sorry, Zer0 is too item hungry. I have to -1. Not really, +1. He builds wayyyy better than I do. His homes are always unique.
Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted January 26, 2015 -1 builder. Not enough messy medieval. +1 actor. Dunno what his signature is but it's pretty good, so +1.
Kim 1328 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I think with some pointers or collaborations with other builders, Zer0 could easily improve on his building work. I feel like he's a good learner and has the capability of retaining a lot more information and skill. Even if he doesn't meet the expectations as a builder, you should consider him as an actor. IcyJazzy 6 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Your builds are like your room! Too neat! needs to be more messy to fit! Buuuuuut.. there is always room to improve :) You are good at acting. Tom_Whiteman 949 Share Posted January 30, 2015 You have some nice builds, but they do need work. I can, however, vouch for your RP, it's fantastic and you'd be an excellent addition to the team! +
A Spooky Witch 156 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Yes please, like everyone else has said there is ALWAYS room for improvement. +
natsu120 2 Share Posted February 3, 2015 +1 He has taught me to become a decent builder, and has also shown me how to do Technics to help my building stand out. I also think he has the ability to learn on the job, and increase his skills in building. I agree he is not the best builder, but watching others will help him become better.
