Sky 0 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Simple question really, I would have added a poll for those of you who don't wish to articulate your reasoning but it would be much better if you put it into writing than simply clicking yes or no. If someone uses mechanics to enter some place, should we be allowed to use mechanics to stop the person? Example: Person 1 walks into your house mechanically, person 2 uses mechanics to force them out. The example can be used for a multitude of scenarios. So, what's your opinion? Resolving a fight via mechanics once it's happened in Roleplay is one thing. Making /all/ roleplay (or an entire rp situation) mechanics is another. If you run into someone's house and ignore Rp, that is against the rules. When in Rp, all actions should be emoted out. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

mitto 2312 Share Posted January 30, 2015 I think it's a good idea on paper, but in practice I see it being easily abused. the more vague rules are added the harder it is to stipulate on, like the quote above, it looks like it would work well but it would just end up in a ooc fest ig.
