The one ravaged survivor stumbled into Tar Valon, and finally collapsed. An Aes Sedai gave what healing she could. With the man's last dying breath he told them of what had happened to the expedition. The people were horrified, and the people clamoring for the expedition sank into the shadows. People erupted into chaos, not knowing what more the tree beast could do to them. People even dared suggest going out and killing it, but they were silenced. Life went on and the mining city now named Camelyn became a small town in it's own right. South east of Tar Valon, it was still relatively close.

From Camelyn however, people called for the expansion east. Scouts sent that way not going north first had reported forest turning into foothills, and then the great ocean. No one besides the scouts had seen one before, and they all wanted a taste. Shai'tan whispered in the Hermit's ear of what could be done at sea, and he cried for another expedition. This one would be larger, more planned, and rest a move then an adventure. At the advance of the four hundred settlers to come were the warriors and channelers. A full thirty Aes Sedai with an escort of sixty Warderds freshly and fully armored form the forges. Behind their advance was three hundred Sentinels of the Tower, and two hundred archers from the stiffened men of the steddings. They would fight any of the forest beast-natural or fey-and try to scare the ent off. If it even appeared some argued. When they reached the stone hills, they set up outpost to watch the ocean. The settlers [hopefully] came in behind the advance with an escort of warriors equal size to the vanguard.

They would live in the small strip of fertile plains north of the stone hills. Settling on the coast they would head directly east of Camelyn and only risk going north while walking along the coast. The town was to be named Illian, and Shai'tan gave them the ability to make ships, and lumber was hauled from the forest. The ships had two to three triange sails, and the one deck ran long and true. The prow was tipped with a ram, and the side railings raised and supplemented in wooden cover. Arrow slits ran through the covers for archers, while lower down holes for the oars. The deck under the main one was below the waterline and used for storage. They superstitiously only cut the wood for it in the south, then carted it east to the planes before north. Other supplies to build the town came with it, and half of the force was dedicated to guarding the supply line. Back in Tar Valon the miners went deeper into the ravine, finding more seams and caverns to mould into homes. Aes Sedai with the talent to mould stone or iron were highly prized, and paid well to make good quality stone and iron work.

With the model of the forge copied and a whole district in Tar Valon -let alone the town of Camelyn dedicated to the production- of forged were made. With the ores coming quickly from Camelyn and the ravine, they were able to go at a quick rate. The warders were given well made iron arms and armor, and nearly every Sentinel had a weapon or armor piece of Iron. Archers arrows were tipped with the sharp ore, replacing wood and stone.

The people still worshipped Shai'tan fervently, as the proof being a temple being raised in Camelyn. They did not however want to be ruled over completely, and formed different political groups called Ajahs. With not much to display their views in the form of icons or banners, they settled on colors. The Red Ajah were the ones who had previously -and still do- clamor for war and expansion, while the Blue practiced reaching solutions the peaceful way and using force as a last. The green focused on agriculture, healing, and studying the forest...and the tree beast. The list went on and some Ajah's did what others preached, nothing was clear cut. They were there however, and Shai'tan let it happen. He was a deity of spirits, everything living had one. Some even say the dead, but so foul and corrupt it would be. The more diverse the spirits, the more he could gain from it. Having a diverse people worship him filled him with power, and yet Shai'tan still persisted on remaining quiet and keeping still.

Event: Sinet

As the soldiers move into the swamp, they would find a very sturdy, favorable spot for a fort. The surrounding lands would serve as great farm lands if cared for. The creatures in the rivers do not appear harmful in this area. Only if the swamp was delved deeper into would there be a threat.

Event: White Tower

A month has passed since the events to the north. Most Ajahs have tried to ignore the threat to the north, some denying it even exists. All except the Red Ajah. Many of their ideas are simply ignored or forgotten. Life goes on, however, Tar Valon becomes very lively this night. In one precise stroke, almost every important leader of their Ajah is murdered in cold blood. Except the Red Ajah. With none to impede them, they rise to dictate much of the nations actions. Few speak against them, as they fear for their life.

SINHOTEP

A couple of Hunter-Knights ride back to the capital to inform the Priest-King of their findings. Around 500 settlers and 100 additional Hunter-Knights return (bringing the total there to 200) to build a fort on the spot, as well as a village for additional farming and lumber. The swamp is converted into polders to make it far more arable than even normal plains, and a couple of lumberjacks are set up to cut wood and send surplus timber back to the capital. The 200 Hunter-Knights take up residence in the newly constructed fort, and regularly patrol the border into the deep swamp. The fort itself is fitted with a ballista and a skorpion.

With Sinet now consisted of multiple settlements, the government in the capital decide to officially name each one. The capital is named Sinak. The coastal town is named Nairak. The swamp village is named Shastak.

The Harvest Guardian puts up a mental wall between him and other gods, isolating his nation in itself. The halflings interact with a few travellers, but ultimately remain hidden from the world. They have many festivals and harvests, their population jumps massively with each drunken festival.

Minisa

Minisa soon came back to another happy discovery, Her peoples population has grown to the three thousand, now the whole island being inhabited, with the basic houses in the newer sections of the island. Now about thousand of the population consisting of men and woman were in the army, Everyone wearing the simplest of iron armor, Even though it being light so the men could move around quickly and be less hindered by the weight. The armies weapons now are mainly of swords, long pikes to spears or even the occasional Halberd, Regiments being formed each regiment having a specialty, but most of the army wielded either spears or long pikes with a short sword at hand. In the back of the army 1/4 of the army(So mainly the back) the men wielded long bows with arrows built to penetrate. The entire nation seemed really prosperous with the top part of the island focusing on food production, farms and orchards spread out along the ground while the bottom part of the island had walls being constructed mostly consisting of stone but some parts would be made of wood. Small docks would be created all along the island and the first actual boats would be getting built to try to explore the main land or the smaller island off the coast of their island.

The Third Age

Gods may now have meetings with numerous other gods

Volkhardt

2j6x3l.jpg

He took the seed given to him by Allahn, moving down to the senjanian fields below before carefully planting the seed in the middle of the fields. He watched as slowly, but surely, life returned to his peoples harvest. He stood there, smiling for a moment. However, slowly he thought about his work. He was the God of Fire, yet he was acting like the God of Compassion. He decided he must show the rest of the gods his mettle. He went back to his domain, donning a large suit of armor. A great hall then materializing around him. There were many thrones, and they assembled around a large circular table. Once this was finished, he sent a message to all the gods. "I am Volkhardt, God of Fire and creator of the Alder. I call you all to my domain so that all of us may meet, as I have a interesting offer for all of you."

Heinrich

The Kingdom has grown strong. Our population rises to 24,000 with 10,000 soldiers. Ruhenheim grows larger every day. The Northern harvest has returned. We have begun using polders on the swamp land to make it farmable. The Northern mountain continues to reap us many ores, sustaining our military. We have also continue to research siege equipment, so far developing ballista and catapults. 6 Warships have been constructed at Ruhenheim. They are quite large, the lower decks holding ballista. I am ordering these to the southern island groups, as apparently allies reside there. Honisberg continues to grow as the capital of our great nation, a Imperial Palace being constructed in place of the great hall. Many nobles have been talking about eastern expansion. I have pondered it myself, but will decide on later date.

Captain Wilhelm

We have disembarked from Ruhenheim with our 6 new warships. Armed to the teeth, I am confident that we will be able to overcome what ever foe lies south. We are instructed to meet up with a ally force of ships in the Southern Isles before helping them. Our decks are filled with archers as well, anxious to fight. We are only a short distance from the islands now.

Event: Tyre

As the tyrinian ships explore, they discover 3 locations. The first, a island only slightly north to their own. The second, a land mass to the west. They spot a beach where a population appears to be. The third, a port to the North, in a large desert.

SINHOTEP

The population of Sinet had now grown to 36,000, of which around 9,000 were Hunter-Knights. They were distributed as follows: 20,000 in Sinak, 10,000 in Nairak, 6,000 in Shastak. The Hunter-Knights had taken to using more suitable and refined equipment. They are now equipped with lamellar armour, a composite bow, and a curved scimitar. Over time the camels have been bred for greater speed and stamina, almost reaching the speed of a horse now.

----------

As the unknown ship comes close to Nairak, alarms ring throughout the coastal town. Several skorpion-fitted galleys converge on it, and attempt to clear the decks, then board. [MOD NEEDED]

-----------

Sinhotep responds to Volkhardt, agreeing to meet him. He would appear in this form:

Event: Sinet

The men on the deck are quickly cut down by numerous scorpions. Once boarded, the Sincans would find chests full of food, equipment, and maps.

World Event

All along the western coast, strange sightings are heard of. A thick fog rolls in, reducing most visibility. People report to see large dark masses moving through the foggy water, although no one can identify exactly what they are.

SINHOTEP

The maps and equipment are sent to Sinak to be studied by the Priesthood, whilst the food is distributed amongst the sailors of the galleys. After long consideration over their contents, which seemed to point towards and island to the South, a decision is made.

A small fleet of around 10 Galleys is assembled and outfitted with both ballista and skorpion. The fleet sails South, where it begins to perform hit-and-run raids on the small ports of TYRE. The order they are raided in is rather arbitrary, so as to hinder anticipation of attack after the first few raids.

Minisa~

Minisa blinks the entire island now prosperous but...now there was another gods creations attacking her peaceful people with better built boats...this concerned her and looked over towards the other gods offer. Biting her lip she nods saying simply that she will be there, now after saying that she quietly mumbles some words to the nations leaders through her dreams telling her to begin constructing more defend-able ports, walls built along the entire island with archers based on it to defend the ships. Bigger boats for expedition are still getting constructed, while the population continues to grow although slightly slower due to the capacity of the island. The Army grew just a bit more, the more skillful archer regiments are placed along the beach on posts, with flaming arrows at the ready while the boats fish further close to the land.

Minisa, once she's finished sends out a quiet but heard question to Sinhotep "There must be some mistake, you're people are hurting my creations but ive done nothing to you? Perhaps we can work something out?" she then waits quietly thinking about what to wear.

SINHOTEP

Sinhotep responds to Minisa "I am not the master of my children, I do not command them or lord over them. They are their own masters."

The raiding galleys are both swift and well-armed. The archers of Tyre defending the ports are cut down by the Skorpion, and their defenses levelled by ballista. The construction of the walls about the islanders is constantly harassed by the raiders.

After any successful raid or plunder or attack on Tyre, any prisoners are taken back to Nairak. They are made part of the work-force and are treated well.

Event: Sinco-Tyrinian War

As the war rages on, the fighting clearly tips in favor of the Sincans. Their swift, lighting attacks are hard to keep up with. No early warning is given due to the poor eyesight of the Tyrinians. This also affects their archers, having difficult giving any accurate fire onto the ships. The hastily built walls crumble with a few well placed ballista shots. The government has difficulty finding new workers to build the walls, as most are kidnapped and never seen again. Rationing starts as many fishers don't dare to sail out. The only opportunity they have is when the Sincan ships leave the waters. They leave to drop of plunder, prisoners, and take in supplies, before returning.

The High Prophetess.

We have made a good headway south. Hidden from any other civilization. We did has our God bid us and we sacrificed the fish n a great bonfire.Life is hard in the swamp. There are little plants to feed on, we mostly eat fish. Although our population has grown slightly from 350 to 396 now. It's good to see the young ones even in these dark times. We continue south. To the promised land.

The Great Shepherd.

I like how my people are going. They are resilient now. Although they were kicked out of their home they aren't weak anymore. There is no point to continue my aggression towards the old land of the Sejan.I heard the Alder's God talk. I shall send a message to him. "God of the outsiders who hunted my people. I shall attend your little meeting only if you agree to a cease-fire." I do not wish to fight anymore. Although  I still hate him for what he did a cease-fire will be beneficial for

all.

((I think they would be half way down the swamp now.))

SINHOTEP

With the success of the raids, an additional 20 galleys are outfitted with ballista and skorpion, and sail off to join the raiding.

The Priesthood begins to attempt to convert the Tyrinians en masse, pointing to the fact that their God failed to protect them, whereas Sinhotep had led the Sincans to prosperity and glory. They are given the same rights as a normal Sincan worker, except that they cannot leave the walls of the city they have been placed in. [MOD PL0X]
