Clan Shadiss

The Shadiss would have no future, if it were not the actions of Zarovia Shadiss and Aelys Silverstar, leaders of the first iteration of the Shadiss that lasted in Asulon and ended in Kalos. But their story is a lesson, of madness, of poison of the blood and the mind, allowing snakes to bite them so repeatedly they were driven insane and they killed each other as a way out. While their death was a correction of their mistake, the damage would be done, their insanity destroyed the Clan, leaving it like broken glass.

Insanity is a plague of the mind, it rots and withers your ability, without your sanity, you’re nothing more than a murderer. But it came to pass that prodigies were passed throughout time, left in secrecy to gather masses and rise, and with that came a new age in the Clan.
 


Within her halls of pyres and stone lay no serpents but the ones near the altar, harmless ones that bore no venom in their fangs, while it was tradition to serve Shadiss and serve the purpose of the snake, Ceu, The Maestro did not see this as needed. She meditated with the snakes, and they did not bite her, for she fed them the mice and the remaining husks of animals both small and not to them so they would be sated for days. many snakes came and went for a time, in order to do one thing.

Gather the curious.

And so they did, the snakes led those lost to Ceu, and Ceu explained fully about the serpents and the connections they have with the controller of fates, Gazardiael, most were skeptical, but some who stayed joined Ceu in her task of rebuilding a New Shadiss Clan, one without the sins of the old.

When she gathered a steady amount, and when the first acolyte was promoted to Reaver, she began the first sermon of the Shadiss, praying to Gazardiael in quiet, for they know that up above, the very Archdaemon was tearing the world asunder. They knew Gazardiael was right, and prayed to be forgiven for their ignorance. Gazardiael did not respond, but the Clan grew hopeful that one day they would be able to hear the words of their patron. It is there that Ceu asked them to allow her to lead formally as their Maestro. They did, lowering their heads and bowing to her, she simply smiled and watched as the masses retreated back to their rooms to work.
 


Without a word from their patron, many scouts, former acolytes of the first prayer came and went to gather information of the goings on above, Ceu kept herself in the Altar room, sleeping there, praying there, hoping for a response. It was during one of her prayers that a young male, a scout had come to her about news about the High Elves. How Kalenz, a thorn in the side to order, a very grand example of a hypocrite came back to become Sohaer, and the action s of his Elves further along the flow of time.

Ceu did not take this lightly, the note slammed upon the altar as a piece of the altar slammed upon the note, jumping back, Ceu took a deep breath “Crush..” was the only word she spoke.

Gathering her members, she ordered a final prayer of pilgrimage, and the true rise of the New Clan Shadiss, one that would purge the Insane Sohaer Kalenz, and butcher any who stood in their way, enthralled that it was the will of Gazardiael.

• All those who join are able to rank up normally, it matters not your race or your gender.
• If one is caught eating the flesh of another, unless it be farm animal, will be executed immediately without being able to repent.
• If one falls to the thralls of insanity, they are expected to kill themselves, or have us kill them.
• One must remember, there is no such thing as Impures or Pures, find assistance in those who reject the High Elven Law, kill those who act out in aggression.
• You will find that it matters not of your sexual status, but to have relations within the Shadiss bases is a crime that will punish you to having you hands and legs bound in prayer before our altar.
• You are to cover yourself, we are not to reveal any flesh that may be viewed as lewd. You may not wear the Prayer outfits outside of the Shadiss base, you are to wear everyday traditional clothing outside.
• Do not bring prisoners to any bases that do not have a cell, if done by accident one must kill the prisoner.
• The snakes are not there for you to be bitten by them, feed them, take care of them, but never let them bite you.
• Do not harm or steal from your brothers, you will be imprisoned and killed for your crimes. In situations that have no clues as to whom started the crime, the two involved must work together to do work, with the limbs tied together. Should one be dead at the end, the other is to be executed.
• Harming our allies will leave you at their mercy
• If one of our allies harms a member, they are to report it to the Maestro.
• All prisoners are to be bound and gagged, regardless of where you take them, if one forgets to do so the prisoner must be killed.
• Destroying Shadiss property, depending on what it is, will result in the breaking of ones bones.
• Always know the difference between ally and enemy.
• Keep Gazardiael as your patron, follow and be rewarded when he reaches out to us. (Being a Druid is fine so long as you can manage it)
• We are not assassins, we are not murderers who kill in excess and blame it on how we are raised, kill only those who have passed grievous harm upon you. The only time assassinations are allowed is when taking down a high priority target.
• We are to keep our surface tidy, replace trees, do not overplant sugarcane in excess, harvest what you can when you can.
• Those without a profession will be taught the basics of most of them until they find one they like, professions are by choice.
• We are not bandits, robbing people on the road is only fine if you do not try to escape towards our base. Those whom become wanted move to the other base which has less than the main base.
• Secrets are to be kept that, if someone confides in you to keep a secret, unless it threatens the Shadiss, keep it till your dying breath.

• We are created for the enjoyment of all whom we are targeting, create events that are non-lethal and make their roleplay enjoyable, Warclaims will be made as needed
• We are to adhere to all guild faction rules.
• If you kill someone, they should be given a week before being killed by you again, because it isn’t fun to be killed repeatedly, right?
• Prisoners are to be kept busy, or released, they have things to be done as well as you (this is ooc due to the rule of 30 minutes of no RP leading to their freedom, just have fun with them and let them go)

Dwarves - Possible current ally, they are enemies of our enemies (Do not engage)
Elves of Cerulin - Possible current ally, Or enemy, they are indecisive.  (Do not engage, attack if attacked first)
Elves of Haelun’or - Hostile, kill all who exit their city, pile their bodies on their gates.
Elves of Bronze - Hostile, kill; all who exit the Silver city, pile their bodies on the gate.
Oren - Unknown, it is best to leave them alone, do not engage a human unless they are the aggressor.
Avalon - Under no situation are they to be attacked, the Mongoose and the Snake may not get along, but they are best off left unprovoked
