A group of captured High Elves are put in attendance of Lieutenant Publius Bracchus, held in captivity by the 2nd Akovian Regiment:

"Dear soldiers of the Silver City. Today, we destroyed the army you fielded nearly upon contact. Shattered lay their shields, and destroyed are your houses destined to be. But do not be fooled, for this is the calm before the storm. This is as peaceful as you will see your lives for a long, long time.

Hardly two elven weeks ago, we were staunch allies. We fought together, we broke bread together, we were almost one with our wills. This ended with your leadership's disgusting, racist policies towards those of "Impurity". It is shocking how offended your leadership became at this premise, and doubly shocking that the citizens of the Silver City supported their stance. It is a struggle to understand why an ally of ours could be so consumed with hate and anger, but it got far worse; they slayed our king.

Not only were you not outraged, you stood firmly at their side.

For this, you will pay. You know you will pay. You beg those you oppressed for forgiveness, but it is far too late. Your leadership is to be slain, but the citizens of Haelun'or have yet to choose there fate. To continue on your disloyal and disgusting path set by those like Kalenz will see you lead to our sword, and there, you will not survive. But against him? A chance for redemption is offered.

If you wish to be spared, look away from the current leadership, or out of mercy to those you would persecute, we shall strike you dead. Not just you, but those close to you, and the buildings that house you, and the walls that defend you. Like a righteous hammer slamming against glass, we will obliterate everything that is under your nation's name, and the most dangerous resistance we expect you to offer, is the debris from the carcass of your nation flying outwards from our attack as your struck.

You have the opportunity to lay down your sword. Ignore it, and we shall put not just you down, but everything you hold dear.

Consider this the most generous offer you will get."

Copies of a letter are given to the captives to bring to the Silver City. To those refusing to hold it, have it nailed to their hands.

EDIT: (If you wish to RP as a captive or captor in here, you may, assuming you have a persona that was involved in the conflict.)

Aeran raises an hand, patiently waiting for someone to call him to speak for a few moments. He decides he should just shout it out.

"Wouldn't their fate not be sealed if you are offering them an option as to what will happen to them?" He quickly looks away meekly, going back to his business.

"Genocide is generally bad, y'know?" he mutters.

"Because a thing seems difficult for you, do not think it impossible for anyone to accomplish."

"The only difficulty Oren faces is restraint in its retribution. It is hard for us to stay our hand with our blood boiling so hot with rage."

"The fate of those who maintain their path is sealed. I wish not for genocide, that'd be hypocritical: They killed our king for demanding the end of a genocide against 'impures'. I have sent out the late King Andrik Vyrda's letter which proves this, and if you're literate, I would suggest reading it. If not, I'm sure a scribe may rehearse it out loud for you."
