Tylos wonders why the Dwarf population hasn't quadrupled in size as it normally does during wars.

Skippy will not miss a dwarf who is too cowardly to defend his own mountain.

Skippy Irongut shakes his head in disapproval of a human's last ditch attempt to confuse dwarves with misguides propaganda. How poor are they!

A broad smile forms on Publius' face, an eyebrow raised.

"Friend, you are quick to contradict yourself. You just addressed one of the people I referred to in my "Propaganda", then dismiss what I say? Pathetic. This man simply wishes to avoid the oppression this Senate has to offer. Again: Perhaps he'd simply prefer to serve his country in something he's skilled in, rather be thrown in front of Orenian blades."

Without even a hint of his usual temper, he coo's on.

"It's funny to think that the Dwarves believe they're so free, when the state will press anyone into a uniform to continue a war for a name. Do you know what those leaders who tried negotiating with Oren said to all our terms? That they were agreeable. They went further, as to offer us arms and military support against the Silver leadership. Only when the suggestion that using the word "Grand" in their title was just ridiculous at this point, did they protest. Be slow to mock those wishing not to die: They asked not for this, but were forced into it by your leaders."

Publius winces hearing this, raising an eyebrow at the idea afterwards.

"Is Uruguan really just going to throw up a meat shield? What use does a miner, a smith, an alchemist or any of these new, conscripted men have to offer in the field of battle, that isn't already provided by those who made fighting their trade? What will be left, should the city fall?"

He scoffs, shaking his head.

"Anyone can say with certainty, that the people want to defend the 'Grand' in your kingdom's name, are not the one's you are pulling into service... Though I'm sure you've stopped caring about what they've wanted long ago."

"There's a reason three practices will be held per week for the recruits. By the time their training is complete they will be able and ready for any battle they enter." chimes Fili "And in regards for a violation of freedom, the soldiers are needed or all will fall to the sword, and freedom will be lost forever"

"Strip them of their freedom, for freedom? Okay then, good one."

Shaking his head, he goes on quietly.

"I'm an 11 year veteran of Oren, and you think training these men and women for a year or less, not in battle, but in a barracks will prepare them for this onslaught? Perhaps you've never seen a battle yourself, friend, but I can assure you that the last thing anyone is in war, is ready for any battle. They're going to be learning from the losing side of this conflict too: Not exactly the position to be learning these tricks from."

Dwain would note that all dwarves can fight no matter their profession. Miners arms are strong as well as blacksmiths. Humans should know better.

Karl if it came to him, would say "Good, I don't see why our enemy giving us a better fight is a bad idea. The wars have been boring for both sides."

Dulgar Doomforged grumbles aloud. "En order ti get the freedum un mus' giv op their freedim foirst … an' su yer frum Oren…wunt a bludeh medal fer t'at? All dorvs ken foight..et runs in t'eir blud, su s'ut yer trap."
