New sets of posters are set up around the city of Haelun'or, each emblazoned with golden writing, and overly-elaborate silver borders. It stands out from the other, weathered posters surrounding it.

Be Aware, Citizen. The Election is Nigh.

With the cessation of hostilities between Haelun'or and Oren, it turns to the citizenry to once more elevate one of our own to the office of Sohaer. A semblance of continuity is paramount to our continued existence after these trying times, and we must aspire to all that we are, and can be, once more.

The method of election shall be in the usual fashion. It is advised that all possible candidates make themselves known officially here, and then perform the customary campaign speech.

Citizens are also reminded of our new state as a Protectorate under the Kingdom of Oren. Candidates are advised to recall and memorize the conditions of the Silver Binding, and all that it means for our people.

*Avern'dionne gathers other High Elves in the town center.*

"Mali'aheral, we require a leader who will to serve with all their effort, and work to the continual progression of our society. We are in a time where we must rebuild and regather our people, I am am willing to lead us through it. Once again, I put myself, Avern'dionne Adriane, forward for the position of Sohaer, to lead our blessed people."

"Several elven months ago, I had said the same thing, and was voted in. I had one because of what I had done. I had stayed with our people in our time of repression in the refuge, and stopped the genocide that had been brought upon us. I repaired relations with the Bortu and Uruks, something one would never have imagined. One day I set up a meeting, in which Maheral Delonna had regained the Silver City. Yet this is the far past, and as you know I stepped down very quickly, due to a challenger. Kalameet Izalith had challenged me afterorganizing a trial in which a loved one of mine was killed, and in all honesty, I was not in a stable state of mind. Yet I learned from that, and continued to lead as oem Medi'ir."

"Though if there is a single thing I regret most of all, it is allowing Kalenz Uradir to resurface. He had faked his death with assistance from Silir'ilume and Kalameet, and returned to lead our people to where we are now. It is true he lead us to victory of the Mali'ame, yet he also lead us to loss - loss in ourselves. Look to the agreement we have signed, Mali. The three who are now banished, I was the first to speak against them and branded them for what they are - traitors. I will not allow people like them to further infiltrate our government. I will lead a council that is true to elmaehr'sae hiylun'ehya, and stands for what we are, not some illusion of an empire as the others had lead us to see."

"Yet we must move forward from the past, and focus on what is important now; our future. We are signed under the Silver Binding, a most gracious offer that our kin had received, and its preservation is essential. I will ensure that that it is upheld, and that our relations with the governing Kingdom are kept as best as they can. The fact we are bound to an agreement, Mali, does not bind us to stagnation. We will work with Oren for the betterment of both our society and theirs, but most importantly we must find change - change within ourselves. We must not be blinded by the illusions of another trickster, and we mustn't be lead by false ideals. What we need, Mali'aheral, is truth. Truth in our leadership, and truth in ourselves. Only then can we regain the pinnacle of knowledge which we have over time lost in the clouds of our own vanity. We must rebuild, Mali'aheral, rebuild what we have lost, and I will be our foreman."

Orsino finally gives his election speech now a third candidate has surfaced

"Good day my fellow Mali'Aheral, I am Orsino Acal'elor current Okarir'akaln of Haelun'or and an independent candidate not of any political faction, this is something of a rarity for me as speeches are not my forte, but honesty is. I believe what I have to say to you today is something you'll find refreshing in that I will make promises that I can keep. I have been known as a pioneer in business within the Cihi and whether you agree with the idea of private ownership or not you cannot deny the progress we made with the Gilded Hammer and how it has assisted the Mali'aheral and the state of Haelun'or at large."

"This nation has been destroyed and rebuilt from nothing many times before and I intend to rebuild our nation and encourage our people to return to us. We have had many great leaders in which have built us up with nothing more than their sharp minds and the determination to see us prosper and like in the past in which these leaders gave us hope, purpose and pride I intend to do nothing less. During my term as Okarir'akaln I was the first to hold the position and make the treasury a profit in order to further our prosperity, I will bring my skills in leadership, mercantile savvy and my knowledge and experience in my travels to further diplomacy and fix the ties that were severed foolishly."

"With the Silver Binding I will make an effort to ensure our rights and way of life remain prominent within our Cihi and that the Valah who now protect us, I will fix the bonds of Crimson Silver that were regretfully and foolishly melted away and nearly caused our peoples destruction. However I will not stop with just this diplomacy, I will restore activity, productivity and prosperity through various steps and plans. I feel as if I appeal to both the Conservative and Liberal citizens of this nation due to my vast knowledge and experience of the outside world and with the promise that I will end any Imperialistic Efforts against the Mali'ame and Mali'ker. If you choose me to serve you as Sohaer I will do all I have said and more."

"Maehr'sae hiylunehya."

Asul'athri smiles wanly. "Alas, I think we both know that our people shall fail to vote for the right candidate - though, in saying that, I must wish good luck to you, even as I begin to fear the total collapse of all that we had sought to rebuild."

Thurdan makes his way to the podium with a brisk pace. He clears his throat before looking upon the gathered high elves.

“We, the mali’aheral, embark upon a new era. Past actions have brought instability and disarray. Yet, the dust has settled and we must bring new life to it. I Thurdan Orathon wish to lead you, as a part of the Triumivirate, to co-ordinate, with each and every one of you, the rekindling of our purpose.

The mali’aheral have the capacity to progress, yet we sometimes lack direction and this can lead to stagnation and lethargy. Many of us, including myself, have had moments where we are unsure of what to do next. I plan to combat this put implementing what I would like to call the “Triumvirate’s progressive agenda”. This agenda will outline specific areas that are need of progression. The items will be ranked in order of what most benefits the mali’aheral, which will based off your opinion. Resources will be allocated accordingly. By doing so the mali’aheral will have a clear idea on what needs to be progressed, and more importantly be able to uphold maehr’sae hiylun’ehya.

There are some who look upon the Silver Binding and see it as a blunder. However, we have ensured good health and will continue to do so through the protection of the men of the valah for many decades to come. Now that our health has been firmly safeguarded, I wish to grasp this prime opportunity to enter into a time of unprecedented progression.

Actions of the past have sought to exercise domination upon fellow mali, which have ultimately lead to distancing and resentment between the mali’aheral and the mali’ame. If elected, I wish to pursue the renewing of bonds between the mali’aheral and the mali’ame and mali’ker. By doing so, we can put our resources together to effectively and efficiently make progression.

I ask the mali’aheral to not despair, even though we may see our current efforts as pointless or in vain. A new beacon of hope must be installed and I Thurdan Orathon, believe that I can serve you as this beacon by being elected to the Triumvirate as Sohaer. Through your vote, a new noontide can be brought into fruition. We can only bring this about by returning to stronger emphasis upon maehr’sae hiylun’ehya and I will generate this sense of importance”

After finishing his speech, Thurdan pauses and looks upon the gathered mali’aheral once more before stepping away from the podium.
