Meats And Certain Other Recipes Not Working.

So me and my buddy are trying to cook up food, and we noticed that suddenly certain recipes weren't working for some reason.

 

Example: Cooked Chicken

 

Ingredients:

 

Needed:

 

Message:

 

I was able to make Noodles and Dough, but things like Cooked Fish, Salmon, Chicken, gravy, and the pies was bugging out. I tried removing the cooking pot and replacing it, didn't work.

Can confirm. I have been given much meat to cook and can do nothing with it.

Beef seems to work fine for me, as well as all the stews I've tried. And the dough products seem ok too.

Can also confirm, but lack photographic evidence due to being an inept chef. However, my current chef _Jandy_ reports being unable to cook chicken, and also being unable to cook our massive stock of fish. 

 

EDIT : Discussed the topic with a Jr. Developer, but claimed it was fixed without realizing it wasn't. Will message again to let her know.

I believe it's something to do with old and new materials. I put it in the techy chat and it should hopefully be sorted soon.

Has to do with ingredients that have an expire date. Examples:

 

Bread works because it needs dough.

Honey bread works because it needs dough and honey.

Toast does not work because it needs butter and bread (bread has expire date).

I tested with going out and catching new fish and killing a new chicken, still no dice.

Careful, might also be a case of bugged item stacks. That happened with the transition to 1.8. I happen to have a stack of 44 tanned leather which is unusable for anything, it's just a stack of tanned leather.

This is a problem beyond bugged stacks of items. I have chicken that I just killed 5 minutes ago that won't cook for some reason.

Tried break-replacing my cauldron, tried different stacks of chicken of varying ages.

Anything without and expirary date can be used I believe.

Still this is an incredibly annoying Bug, especially since all my food comes from Fishing and I cant cook my fish. T_T
