Edicts of Martial Law

 

 

Issued on the 11th of Snow's Maiden, 1510

 

By the order of His Excellency, Lord Marshal Vasili Vanir, the provincial state of Haelun’or has fallen under Martial Law, to be governed by Lord Adrian de Bar. In such times as these, it is the right of the authorities to issue edicts pertaining to the occupation of the territories they see over. Below, citizens may find the guidelines which they are expected to obey, until such a time as the anarchist plotters seeking to upend the peaceful order of things are brought to justice.

The citizens of Haelun'or are thanked for their perseverance against the tyranny of anarchy in these times, and are encouraged to continue to comply with authorities in their search for these rogue individuals.

Notices are posted throughout Haelun'or in the style of those of typical high elven government notices.

 

It is the will of the remaining Council members that all residing within Haelun'or comply with this edict at once and until it is no longer valid. Any noncompliance hinders the efforts of the Provincial Governor and his men and is a threat to the safety of Haelun'or. For the well-being of all citizens, compliance with this edict is of the utmost importance.

 

The Okarir'mali, Laethis Izaltih, has been in communication with Lord de Bar, and will relay information to him for the duration of the period of Martial Law.
