Supremacy 3361 Share Posted June 11, 2015 The vast cosmos of Aos was stretched out in all its splendor. The stars glimmered and not a cloud sat in the sky to block their magnificence. The cities, too, of Athera stood stalwart as the descendants slept— the flames of their watchtowers ever vigil in the night. And yet, something still stirred in the night. A presence which made its way across the realm, into the hearts and minds of the slumbering elves, dwarves, orcs and men. At first it began as merely a whisper in the back of their minds. Shimmering gold and glittering iron,Tearing earth and writhing flesh. As time would pass and the descendants continued in their slumber, the voice would grow louder. The whispers becoming more urgent as time went on. Khorvad’s Brood’s faltered, Urguan’s shall stand. In each of the descendants minds a vision would flash before them— one not too unfamiliar for those who had voyaged with the embattled children of Malin, Horen, Urguan and Krug— the sight of boats upon a sea, fighting a terrible storm and fleeing from a land they had once called home. And yet those upon boats were not the only ones within their minds. There remained others, without ships to stand upon who in desperation flung themselves into the sea only to be dashed upon rocks and pulled under by the violent waves. Forge a vessel which might preserve your kin, Or perish as those who fell to Gazardiel’s wrath.
