Naaaa, we did exactly what we have always been doing, only this time the dorfs got a teeny- tiny bit sadder and called GMs which at first accused us of raidbaiting, which it wasnt. Then when they realised we actually never broke any rules they just pinned 'being dicks' on us.

The only difference is he got a bit sadder about it" You still can't do **** like that. You wouldn't outside of the server so don't do it on the server. It's not that hard to understand, The group of players general attitude is the worst I have ever seen in an online community. You are all getting worse and it stems from the fact that nothing is being done. As Humans are one of the more popular races newer players will join your group and take the same attitude (See Nathan_Barnett) And will wonder why the rest of the server dislikes them. I think it's about time you realise no one else is laughing with you and you're ruining everyone else's fun in LOTC for your own sake. You need to think about that before you do something.

More war rules changes? Why bother if it's just going to be changed again in 6 weeks?

The last war and raid rules were not designed for this map and simply don't work for it, hence why we're having new ones made over the coming days.

The implication behind that whole thing is that every player who moved with the party was being an asswipe. The thing is they weren't, and a lot of people who obliged the moderator's requests still got banned afterward; everybody pushed into the same boat. I know of people who merely had their status on but didn't even follow that were banned just because of the status. I personally left once the warnings were issued and I was still banned whilst roleplaying in Felsen a good few minutes later. Needless to say, I was confused until I found out they were just banning any person who attended. 

 

Sure, ban the ones who spammed or whatever - but action being took on anybody even remotely related shouldn't have occurred and was just proof of the situation being handled poorly.

 

That depends on your interpretation. The presence of the people in that area still contributed to the main problem, Even if they didn't spam they were party to the events which is just as bad. Hence why in real life most countries will sentence the same or a similar sentence to people who are a party to crimes. It's not unfair or unjust. I think you're all just angry because for once someone has put their foot down.

 

EDIT** Unfair and Unjust are essentially the same thing, I just thought I'd point that out before someone else did

How's it liable to interpretation? Were you actually there to experience what occurred or are you going off the word of another?

 

Regardless, the comparison to real life on this server never works so don't try make it work. Justifying or disproving x action because it does or doesn't work in real life isn't something you should be trying to do. In real life if a warning was given and was obliged by some, those few would be spared - so why even try make the analogy? 

 

I was there. The reason why I'm comparing real life to this server is because people feel like they can do what the **** they want and get away with it. If this server enforced all the rules that it is supposed to that would have never have happened because all of the people who were leading that group would have been banned long ago. 

 

Also forget it being an analogy. It's the attitude that this isn't real life that is a problem. This is real life. It's a way for people to unwind from the stresses of working and whatever else they have to do in today's society which is why the issue of having a bunch of idiots come around attacking them. You wouldn't like it if you were trying to chill out and then a bunch of random guys came over and started ruining your fun? You would probably get pissed of too. Can you stop trying to justify the actions of individuals. Yes, I will agree with you that not everyone deserved a ban. But then again did we really deserve to have you guys coming over to our city hassling us and stopping us from having fun (Non disruptive fun) and it wasn't even in rp so there is literally no justification for it anyway, You guys have serious problems if you can't comprehend that doing things like that just isn't cool. If you don't want to be banned then you should not go along with that group when you know what they plan to do. If you don't know what they plan to do just leave! It's not that difficult.

Yes sure that is what I am saying, Good job Nathan_Barnett for yet another hilarious burn. If you are not role playing outside of the server then I fail to see how to role playing on the server. You need to be able to role play outside the server in order to have a character on the server. Although with you I am using the term role playing loosely.
