The Chrysanthemum Throne lies empty. The Emperor is dead. Long live the Emperor!

 

Television screens around the country all show the same footage, the first report of Emperor Akihito’s passing. The most popular news station in Japan - LDP TV, a news station ran by Japan’s reigning political party, the Liberal Democratic party. “The Emperor had passed during his sleep, heart failure is what is currently believed” said the reporter, obviously distraught by the news. Little did the citizens of Japan know, this was the first step toward a very different future than they had believed would occur.

 

The Emperor’s death came as a shock to the nation of Japan, he was not expected to pass for years yet. His son, Crown Prince Naruhito ascended to his rightful place upon the Chrysanthemum Throne a month later. Japan’s current leader, Arata Ayumu, who had proved to be a very strong leader despite being a newcomer to the Japanese political scene seemed strangely unaffected by the Emperor’s demise. Rumours spread that he only appeared at the Emperor’s funeral as his job demanded it. The population put these rumours to rest, however, as Ayumu was widely regarded as a true servant of Japan - a nationalist through and through. Other more left wing countries of the world regarded his policies as supremacist, he regarded them as righteous.

 

Ayumu’s previous acts as Prime Minister

 

In his first year as Prime Minister of Japan he produced hordes of propaganda with the aims of nationalising the population. This was brought about when he witnessed Japan falling into degeneracy, falling far from its traditional values of honor and glory. He succeeded in this task.

 

His second method of removing degeneracy was to remove the disgusting cartoons that Japan had become infamous for. ‘Anime’ was widely censored, with most depicting sexual content or leftist ideals being removed from Japanese Television stations (which were slowly being acquired by the government) and replaced with cartoons using a similar art style, but depicting more realistic scenes that glorified Japan. Ayumu wasted no time, the Japanese people were nearly as nationalized as they were in WW2. He knew that this would be a good time to achieve his goals. He set about implementing policies which would allow him to expand Japan’s military. He set the Education Minister to re-configure the educational system to be military based and to give an inclination to join the Japanese Military full time. Meanwhile, Ayumu set forth into motion mandatory national service. All healthy men and women in between the ages of 18-50 would now be required to serve for at least four years in the Japanese military in their lifetime. To ensure people simply didn’t just wait it out, a monthly raffle was held that would summon citizens to national service. Once you had completed your four years, you did not have to serve again unless in war time, which Ayumu had also accounted for by instating the first amendment to the constitution since it’s creation in 1947, removing just about all restrictions on Japan’s military. The two Japanese political parties, both being nationalized over the recent years, agreed.

 

It was estimated that within four years, Japan would be fielding a very powerful military.

 

 

Japan’s research remained relatively economic and environmentalist based for now, Ayumu did not yet need to instate his research policies.

As well, they had captured various depots and barracks, outfitting their troops as best they could while securing 150 Humvees with avrious mounted weaponry, 75 APCs, 20 M1 Abrams Battletanks, 5 Apache Attack Helicopters, and 7 Blackhawk Helicopters as well as control of the surrounding city defenses.

 

-Singapore's newly acquired lands would be successfully integrated, with the people welcoming the stability of the new government. Calls for rapid modernization are heard for areas suffering from neglect of the former government ruling the land. As well, a spike in military volunteers is seen, increasing the reserve strength by 50%.

 

-Togo would refuse Ghana's demand, stating it had no reason to surrender to Ghana when there was no war, and they would not give up their power to the likes of ministers from Ghana, whom they openly called ticks, and their mothers whores.

 

-British Police are suddenly more of a para-military force than traditional police, Citizens are are afraid of them and crime has dropped due to the harsh punishments these police are now enacting on criminals they find, no longer fearing for their safety due to their firearms and armor. A small riot was unfolding in Glasgow, but Police began unloading tear gas and firing at the rioters with automatic weapons, putting the riot down in under 17 minutes.

 

-In Morocco, tourism spikes as there is a sudden flood of drugs on the market, and police seem to be uncaring, and the travel restrictions are lifted. Mostly college students and high school graduates are visiting Morocco, with a good portion even inquiring about citizenship.

 

-As Tasmanian Insurgents gathered more territory, so too did their forces grow. -Greek Commandos in Tasmania go off the grid, not reporting to Australian forces, only to a Battalion Commander whose forces are stationed on a Greek Cruiser off the southwestern Tasmanian coast, who assures Australia they are unavailable and hard at work.

 

-In a mess, Myanmar collapses in on itself, with Malaysia following suit. The lands are contested by warlords vying for control, making it a worse situations than some African nations right now. It is a serious world problem, and the UN begins calling for foreign intervention from Singapore and India to help placate the area, sending resources to both countries.

The Southern Chinese Republic

 

          As the fragile agreements made in the 2018 ceasefire of the Chinese civil war begins to fall apart, with belligerents on both sides turning to re-engage hostilities the armies of the South Chinese Republic move north to face the red threat; backed by a wealth far beyond their own domestic means.​

 

          As food aid and foreign aid begins to pour through Tibet from India the growing hunger  problem in the decimated country begins to wane and for once the Southern Chinese begin to look beyond mere survival and Southern China begins to rebuild.

 

 

  With Hong-Kong as the new seat of power and a bastion of free press it quickly begins to expose the corruption and excessive waste of the Communist party . Grand King Aba shrugs, and simply gives the call to the PMCs stationed at a landing point near Lombe. Within a few hours, PMCs storm the shores nearby Lombe, the sudden appearance of the 10, 000 well equipped Americans likely stomping over any resistance as they engage in a blitzkrieg manoeuvre towards Lombe. Dealing with degeneracy

 

Without the knowledge of most of the Government, Ayumu went about reforming Kempeitai, Japan’s Military Police. These ‘Military Police’ officers did not function like normal MPs, instead taking the role a similar to Nazi Germany’s Gestapo. Ayumu had more ambitious plans with his secret police, instead of just regulating Nationalism and ironing out Defeatism Ayumu would use his Kempeitai to utterly obliterate child pornography and pedophilia, something that had begun to run rampant in Japan in recent years. The known pedophiles were the first to disappear forever, next came the rumoured pedophiles and finally the unknown pedophiles. In the mean time, restrictions on what websites Japanese citizens could access became stricter, making gaining access to child pornography very difficult.

 

 

Over months the national mindset of Japan began to fall from it’s previous degenerate ways and began to resemble how it was nearly a century ago during WW2. Japanese flags begun to be raised outside of citizen’s homes, shops began to readily package their goods with propaganda. The national unity of Japan was at an all time high. Propaganda against criminals, especially pedophiles became the most popular. It became a common thing for criminals caught in the act by citizens to be beaten to near death (sometimes even death). The Separatists Insurgent Force of Australia

Upon the recent decisive victories in the South and South-east of the Island, the SIFA rebels shout chants of victory, singing sounds and celebrating their General's decisions. Word quickly spreads around the globe of the rebel's advance in conquering Tasmania, following the SIFA propaganda videos urging 'True Blue' Australians, Europeans and Neo-Fascists to join the fight against the 'tyrannical and degenerate' Australian Government. In the town of Roseberry, soldiers rally in the once town center, forming professional-tier lines in an orderly fashion, rifles by their side. The dense Tasmanian forest surrounding the town was alight, a bush fire covering the sky with a thick, black smoke. The SIFA saw this as a sign of triumph, destroying the forests in which the Australian Army used to their advantage... or in the words of the Insurgency, 'Cowardice tactic'. Amidst the smoke, in the middle of the town the soldiers still remained lined up, some bystander, now homeless citizens coughing due to how pollutant the smoke is. One of the main Generals whom commanded a large squadron stands upon a wooden podium, where the soldiers line up on each side across from it. He clears his throat, saluting the soldiers by extending his arm before he speaks, "The Führer himself shall be amazed at such a victory we have achieved today, and only because of the fight you've provided." He says, grinning widely, "The Australian Republican dogs think they can outsmart a German mind, one of the greatest strategic minds ever to be given by God... They are wrong!" He chuckles, the soldiers doing the same after, "These degenerates think they can defeat us, but no! We shall march to victory, one by one, until we conquer this whole damn island. Within the empty town of Hobart, laborers work tirelessly to repair infrastructure, erecting German World War II inspired architecture and buildings to replace the city's crumbled debris. One of his Generals begins to speak, telling him of the Australian deployment on the North and North-west coast of Tasmania, causing Zachary to shake his head in disgust, "The Australian dogs think they can outsmart me by landing troops upon my own territory. Defend the coast, kameraden. Crush their infantry with our superior mechanized warfare." He chortles, before jabbing his finger at the area in which the Australian's landed on a map on top of the table, "Then fortify the surrounding areas - Use it to our advantage." He clenches his fist, before moving on, "The South shall fall into our favor; reinforce our regiments with more willing soldiers, then blitzkrieg the rest." He nods affirmatively, glancing around as the Generals give their input, resulting in a long discussion between the gathering. After the battle plan is agreed upon, and orders carried out via radio, Zachary invites Christine Milne into the conference room, motioning for her to sit down as they begin diplomatic discussions. Pleased with her proposal, the Führer nods approvingly, signing an official alliance between the Republic of Kingsfort Smith and the SIFA forces.

They then begin to blitzkrieg down southward, pushing through no matter the cost. The newly formed nation had remained completely peaceful since its founding, it's small military dormant and the focus of the nation on progression, equality and environmentalism.

With the ascension of the Holy Father to Sovereign of Rome He has decided that actions and steps must be taken to ensure the current and future prosperity and continued economic growth within the bounds of the City. In light of such, We thus declare the following to be enacted:

 

• The cutting of tax on corporations and business entities operating within the city limits to that of a 13% margin, to be followed by a decrease to 11% and then 10% over the following two years.

Brazil

With the collapse of the Chinese government in 2018 Brazil lost one of its main trade partners, leading to a small steady decline in its economy. This coupled with the taking over of the military once again did not leave its citizens in the state of happiness. After the take over the now dictator, Alexandre Navarro, made major changes to the laws with the back of the military and police force going as follows:

 

• Drugs in brazil remain completely outlawed, though now the use and distribution of narcotics is punishable by death.

• A draft was implemented, forcing anyone that is physically able to serve in the Brazilian military for a minimum of two years, and those unfit for service help in other ways be it in warehouses and etc.

• The military reserve was abolished, forcing those in it to join the active military.  

• ¼ of graduating doctors must join the military to supply them with better medical aid in the field.    

 

With the rise of leader Alexandre Navarro, a large scale war on drugs would be started by the Brazilian military. Anti-drug propaganda would be strewn around the country demonizing the use and distribution of drugs. Though his hate for drugs was not the only reason for these, the posters as well depicting their surrounding countries as crack fiends and cocaine addicts, stating that this is where most of our drugs are coming from. The dictator Alexandre Navarro and the Brazilian military would as well begin censoring the television and radio, banning anything that depicts the use  of drugs unless being used as anti-drug propaganda as well as censoring anything to do with the military besides recruitment commercials.

With the dying down of the military parade Dictator Alexandre Navarro would get into his armed transport, heading back to his mansion for a meeting with his generals and advisors. Heading inside he would make way for the meeting room, armed guards saluting him as he moves down the hallway. Stepping into the room both the advisors and generals would stand, giving their leader a salut. With a wave of his hand they would all take a seat once more before Alexandre himself would take a seat.

First things first, with the influx of soldiers I require a compound built  outside of Brasília to train a newly formed Brazilian special forces trained in gorilla and jungle warfare. Their main use for now will be the seizure of drug growers out in the country. As well I require more airplane and shipbuilding factories be made, this will supply our civilians with more jobs and as well give us access to more naval and air power” He would then take a short breath, turning toward his advisors “I as well wish to send one of you to Singapore as to set up a trade agreement, and another to India for the same.” with that he waves the Advisors out, and motions for the generals to follow him toward a different table. The armed guards would shut the doors once the advisors left, both Alexandre and his generals now stand before a map of South America.

“Now, with our expanding forces I wish to expand both our borders and war on drugs to both here and here” he would point toward Bolivia and Paraguay “With that, I need at least 200,000 be prepared to march on Bolivia and 200,000 to do the same for Paraguay. Supporting each will be 100 tanks, 4 attack helicopters, 100 towed artillery, and 300 armored fighting vehicles.So in total I need 400,000 men 200 tanks, 8 attack helicopters, 200 towed artillery, and 600 armored fighting vehicles on their way toward there as well keep the air force on standby..” With that he would dismiss the generals, heading back toward his chair a hand running down his stressed features before pressing an intercom button calling in the advisors once more “With that out of the way, I need a letter sent out to both Bolivia and Paraguay asking for their surrender after our first attack tomorrow.” he would then shew them out once more, preparing to write a speech toward the public for the days to come.

With the collapse of the European Union years earlier and the abandonment of the Euro in favor of the Deutschmark the German Government had heavily benefited from the collapse of the EU. However the German Government only abandoned the EU out of necessity rather than want, seeking a more federalized Europe, a superstate and a new superpower out of heavily Federalizing the States of Europe. Being able to help the weakened countries in eastern Europe through peaceful unionization and Federalization it was time to act. 

 

The Nations of Poland and Ukraine are offered to form a new Union, the Federal Republic of Germany proposes to begin to form the European Federation. In this proposition each nation would surrender their sovereignty and become in on itself a large Federalized Republic. Due to the weakened economic state of those two nations a strong Germany both militarily and economically it would be a great boon for those nations to reap the benefits of joining such a Union. 

 

Germany has an unrivaled car industry in Europe due to its economic advantages over other nations, the Government encourages the Automotive Companies to continue to grow, building more factories and looking to invest in Eastern Europe to encourage Poland and Ukraine to accept Germanys Offer. With the collapse of many European Nations economies with the Euro, Frankfurt overtook Paris and became the largest Financial Centre in Europe.

The Prinkipas would stand before the old National Building in Athens, smiling as a celebration was being held, confetti fluttering in the air, local foods being cooked, and a national holiday was held, March 25th. The day they were freed from the Turks. The crowd cheered for their leader, a laurel about his head as he held up a sing hand, smiling to his people, silencing them. Speakers carefully placed in the crowd carried his voice, while people at home watched.

 

"Good day, my fine countrymen! And what a beautiful afternoon! Truly, God is favoring us with this gorgeous weather for some of his most devout followers. But I did not come to talk of the weather, nay, something greater! I do announce the unveiling of the Jewel of the Greeks, remade in the glory of our predecessors, Constantinople!  From here forth, the beautiful city shall once again be our capital! After this day, city officials will be taking requests to purchase housing and market space in the city. They will review based on criminals history, military service, and so forth. We are dawning on a new age, my friends! We have come far, but further shall we march as God intended! Now, enjoy the day countrymen! There is food to be eaten, and wine to be drunk!"

 

A boy bearing an ornate goblet would present it to Alexandros, who would toast the crowd, and drink as they erupted into cheers!

 

The day of celebration passing, Alexanros looked upon it with joy, then returned to his work, drafting a letter to Macedonia, offering them glory and wealth for their desolate nation still recovering from Communism. He offers them a place in his new nation, where they would govern themselves and share in Hellenic glory as not seen since Antiquity. It would be well met, and Macedonia joins officially as the Province of Macedonia, appointing two Senators and being the only Province to elect their own Governor, at least officially. Alexandros would control their small government with a puppet for a time, to help transition the process.

 

As such, no longer could they be called merely Greece, but Hellas now. However, this would be no simple change. And more land would be needed to truly be the Hellas of Antiquity, and so they were merely Greece for now.

 

-Greek Commandos in Australia would continue their efforts

-The Japanese emissary would be received in Constantinople, being toured around landmarks such as the Monument to Constantine, and the Hagia Sofia so he might better appreciate the Greek Orthodox people. It would seem Alexandro liked the man, and fed him a lavish feast of both Greek and Japanese dishes and drink, often spending evenings with him and the Patriarch Bartholomew talking and enjoying wine.

 

 

-The Holy Father, the Pope would be invited to Constantinople, Nova Roma, to speak with the Prinkipas and the Patriarch Bartholomew to perhaps better relations between Catholics and Orthodox around the world, for Christians of good faith needed to be wary of pretenders to God's nature, heretics, and infidels who would openly seek to harm the Faith.

 

-Cyprus would become a part of Greece through backdoor politics and bribery, officially written off as a purchase of land. The same policy of no Turks and no Islam being enforced. The Turkish backed rebel state on Cyprus would be crushed within weeks of Greek forces arriving, giving no quarter to those who had stolen land. This of course mad Turkey upset, but they could not speak openly against the action of their puppet state as it was the result of Turkish backdoor funding, and terrorist activity.

 

-The Prinkipas would arrange passage to Germany to meet with the Federal Chancellor personally, on cordial terms in hopes of friendship and peace between them, despite historical strife and religious differences, they would hopefully come to good terms.

 

-Singapore is offered official military support in placating Malaysia if they request it.

 

-The economy of Greece grows with the addition of Macedonia, a gateway to the Balkans, and Cyprus, an island offering plenty of room for wharves, docks, harbors and warehouses. As well, an airbase would be built on Cyprus and a dry-dock ((2 pages))

 

-Constantinople opens for tourism as soon as citizens are moved in and the Senate, Justice Council, and merchants move in and set up. It becomes a hot-spot and classical Greek architecture is used to bring back a feel of Antiquity. A monument is erected to Saint Constantine, and the Hagia Sofia brings pilgrims both Orthodox and Catholic to worship, rivaling the amount of pilgrims flocking to Rome, due to it only being open to certain Christian denominations (Catholic, Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox of Alexandrian, Coptic Orthodox Church in Africa).
