At the heart of Hiraeth, an assorted group of Eastin Dia board members and Valiant and Balk employees finish the final touches on a piece of parchment, after days of negotiations.

 

The paper, which would be available to any Eastin Dia or Valiant and Balk employee, would read :

 

 

 

 

AGREEMENT this day 14th of The Grand Harvest, 1518 between Valiant and Balk Banking Co, hereafter referred to as Valiant and Balk, and both Eastin Dia Trading Company and Eastin Dia Trading Company’s subsidiary, Eastin Dia Seafaring Solutions, hereafter jointly referred to as ‘Eastin Dia’.

 

1)    Valiant and Balk hereby agrees upon all terms present in this document and enters into this contract with Eastin Dia for the purposes of furthering trade and increasing business for both parties for an indefinite period and for review and renewal every four years or one elven month commencing 18th of The Grand Harvest, 1518. Agreement is to be valid in all of Vailor.

 

2)    In consideration of the above Valiant and Balk agrees to offer Eastin Dia the following:

a.     One warehouse and docking permissions in each city that Valiant and Balk conducts operations, including all current and future cities that Valiant and Balk will expand to.

b.     Free secure storage of both items and mina of an unspecified amount or quantity, upon request of Eastin Dia.

c.     Any item or service that Eastin Dia requests under a hundred mina, although at a priority below that of any of Valiant and Balk’s traditional clients’ requests.

d.     Financial assistance in the event that Eastin Dia’s assets fall below the value of one thousand mina, to a maximum of two thousand mina per six review periods.

 

3)    In consideration of the above Eastin Dia agrees to offer Valiant and Balk the following:

a.     Secure and prompt cost-free shipping of any item or mina with a value over five hundred mina, to a total amount of three cargo runs per review period.

b.     Military assistance in the event that Valiant and Balk’s security at a certain bank becomes compromised, in the form of up to ten soldiers or two frigates with weapons platforms and ammunition. Due to the nature of this offering and the fact that Eastin Dia does not specialize as a military contractor, this is only valid if Valiant and Balk takes no actions to provoke attacks against themselves or if the opposing force is not an officially recognized nation.

c.     Any item or service that Valiant and Balk requests under a hundred mina, although at a priority below that of any of Eastin Dia’s traditional clients’ requests.

 

4)    This agreement may be terminated at any time following a meeting and mutual agreement between the Eastin Dia Board and Valiant and Balk at any time, or terminated by either party without consent from the other party at the end of each review period.

 

The contract would be signed both by all members of Eastin Dia’s board of Directors, as well as by both Valiant and Balk.
