The Purge

The sun was high as the three elven leaders sat within the hall of Vivec's keep. Silently they exchanged glances as they awaited the Warhawkes and their elder. Dak'ir's fingers tapped against the arm of his chair impatiently as time passed. They all knew why the clan was late and had prepared accordingly. Arzota mumbled quietly as he scribbled into a tome and his son Arveldir stood stoically at his side. Before long their chieftain arrived along with two of his ilk, stating that his brother and the rest were searching for their elder. Dak'ir smirked to himself, knowing full well what that meant. He inclined his chin as he looks to Alakagh, who'd been stationed in the gate house of the keep to keep watch of what was to come. After some words were exchanged, the sounds of armored boots thudding up the hill became apparent. Snapping to, the Ordinator could see the forms of the other Warhawkes as well as sellswords and dwarves as they marched up the hill. The gate slammed before them but not before a couple of the sellswords slipped in. Dak'ir, Tristin, and Laethis rose in unison and called for their respective forces and all too quickly were the Warhawkes surrounded.

"Traitors..."

The sellswords quickly fled as did the forces who'd been denied entry and before long a massacre ensued and the deceivers were quickly dispatched. Afterwards the gates were raised and any stragglers were slain. The Arbiter, the Praetor, and the Sohaer stood together at the entrance of the keep as Archons, Sirame, and Sillumiran worked together in unison for the first time. Despite the strife that was brought, the elves could safely say that they worked together for a common goal for the first time in decades...

OOC note. Glad everything went off in a pretty laid back tone and no salt shakers were thrown around. I wish Ricky and his crew the best where ever they end up next.

Arveldir had returned from assisting running down a straggler, and after celebrations were had he gathered as many mali'ker citizens as he could, and spoke aloud.
"Let it be known, from this day forward that the traitorous Warhawke clan is hereby banished from the lands of Ker'nor, if they show their face they shall be hunted down much like the filthy Mori'Quessir. In the name of the ancestors, may they guide and protect you all."

Arzota sat on Dak's seat, taking the time whilst the Arbiter was away to enjoy the view of the scores of bodies adorning the grand hall of the Ancillary. Besides bearing the obvious joy of sitting upon the throne, he would scribe in fluent motions as the stench of iron would rise from the bloodied corpses set at his feet.

"The land is ripe with corruption, it has and shall be. It would be unwise for the Mali'ker to forget the events which transpired this day, yet much more so to act rashly in the shadow of conflict. The Mali'ker are strong-willed creatures of sturdy make, much like all other Mali'; we as a race must not succumb to the blood-lust of the Uruks in the wake of these events. Only the thoughtful efforts of the Ancillary and her alliances might Mali learn peace within their delegated spheres. It is my hope that such things are within sight on these fateful islands, and such things as what will now be remembered as the Warhhawk Betrayal are not again to occur for some time. -Des'Nox"

A Doomforged sits at his desk, reading over notes and smithing designs. The glow of his bloodred gaze reading over a certain report, and he smiles.

"Justice 'as been given."
