Tythus 1307 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Hi Guys'n'Gals, Just wanting to pop in and say we are doing a small upgrade to the server this should give us about 12.5% extra useful cycles which should help alleviate the lag during PVP but likely will not solve it this is as high as we can go unless we get our hands on 7k$+ to buy a new server all together for another 12.5%ish boost. The server will go down today or tomorrow for at most 1 hour after which everything should be back to normal. Now on to the PVP 1.9 changes, first off we will unlikely to be moving over to 1.9 immediately(more like a month presuming the Mojang gods smile upon us). This should give us and the players some time to at least play with it then based on this and a "your view" we will have later (it will be a poll) we will remove or keep the new change. The actual undoing of stamina without looking at it should be very easy if chosen as this should just be a simple event override making the whole change non-noticeable but with shields as a cool extra. Hammer4_ 166 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I'd like to see shields and power attacks or whatever still in the 1.9 upgrade, but obviously nerfed or changed to however the staff sees fitting. Ask any Minecraft PVPer about the changes and they'll say it's cancer.
