When Stone Meets Silver

Throughout the lowest halls of Haelun'or, the echoic ring of metal against stone resonates in the air. An array of tools rested alongside the elf: various hammers and chisels, tongs and molds, all he would need to form his dutiful servants.

 

He had abandoned his cane for this venture, resting his weight on his shaky legs alone for the first time in nearly a year. Though the attempt on his life had left him weakened, his determination kept him upright, working diligently to complete his task. Slowly but surely, he chipped away at the stone, ignoring his fatigue to form the figures he required. Sweat dripped from his brow, filling the wells of the runes he carved or the natural cracks already present in the stone.

 

Finally, it was the time for the cores. He prepared them one by one, carving the runes in the thahnium cubes. He hammered them into the respective bodies, completing the process and giving life to the three stone figures. As the final golem rose, Laethis fell back, panting in exhaustion.

 

"Harriel. Heial. Tiuth." he named the three, following his words with a shuddering cough. He glances to his assistant, gesturing toward them. "Bind them in Silver."

As the assistant does as he is bid, the golems stare at their Impera as he begins to teach them their duties from the dusty floor.

Heial body stiffly rises. Until he is sat directly upright. His golden gaze shot direct in front of him. His Impera.

 

Heial waits.

Harriel rises from the slab with the two others, eyes intently set on its Impera as it regarded him with a stone-faced stare.
