Lotc Physics Revision

I saw a post regarding raI'd reformation so I thought I should add to the server as well for the better. I found something very troubling as I was contemplating life, on lotc. To craft an anvil it takes 5 iron blocks. We all know that a block in minecraft would be a meter IRL making the characters about 6ft. So it takes 5 cubic meters of iron to make an anvil. 1 cubic meter of iron weighs 7300kg. That would mean that an anvil would weigh 5 times 7300kg making the total weight 36,600kg. That's 80.5k pounds for americans. In lotc I see people plopping anvils all over the damn place like they are hay bales! I'm calling for a new rule requiring atleast 10 players be required to place an anvil to help balance the power of an anvil.

I agree!

Additionally since nine bars of Ferrum make up a single Ferrum Block, then we can safely assume 1 bar of Ferrum is one ninth the weight of a block of Ferrum.  In that vein, a Ferrum Chest plate, forged from 8 Ferrum bars, would weigh 6,488kg.

I also think that one person should not be able to hold an entire cubic meter of stone, seeing as that would weigh nearly 2,600kg.  Extrapolating that to an entire inventory of stacks of stone this would weigh 5,990,400kg, or 6613 tons.

Actually.. I like my Ferrum Axe not weighing approximately 2,400kg.  I now disagree as I consider math and physics.

Though it does amuse me that someone can create an anvil and place it, but woe betide those that wish to steal it.

And there it is, ladies and gentlemen.

Or they could just lower the materials used for an anvil, because if it takes 5 cubic metres, then that would mean the anvil could be no less than a one block block. Which would mean an oversized anvil that wouldn't be legit, then it would turn into a meme and....

An ingot of gold would weigh 4000 pounds. NTY.

what does 'the power of the anvil' even mean it's not imbalanced what so ever

would you rather us walk around with stone swords and leather armour as our main combat gear or what
