Hail Denizens of the Lotc Forums!

 

Wendigo here, and I come to you with another your view this one a little different. The Forum Moderation team is interested in your opinion of the team, along with...be merciful...the forums. Yes the team and I realize this is a loaded topic, so bear with us. We aren't looking for immature comments, but constructive mature responses to possible bugs/irks that we aren't aware of(Or forgot about). We also believe this would be a good time to answer some of the questions that the community has about the forums in general. Remember the staff loves this community just as much as everyone else, and we try daily to make it a fun carefree environment for everyone involved! Have a wonderful day everyone.

All i can say is that the FM are doing their job properly so keep up the good work, especially you Wendigo!

The only issues I currently have with forums is the edit issue, the fact that you recieve a notification that you got a message (Even though they are literally next to eachother) and the lack of fonts (Only basic ones exist :< )

Oh, and the FM team? They're fine and hardworking, especially when doing tasks for the community!

I may be in the minority, but I like the forums.  Though in saying that there are some things that could be improved upon.

First thing is, the forums should be made more mobile friendly. Even now as I type this I had to struggle to get the coloured text because the menu would drop to the bottom of the page and then disappear when I tried to move to it. So a more mobile friendly forums would be nice as its my main way of checking the forums throughout the day.

As mentioned above, the notifications for receiving a message should be changed. You get a notification from your inbox. 

The new content feature should be tweaked. Have a way to expand the list or have it so it doesn't keep moving everything around when you go to the next page.

As for the FM Team. They're great and should continue what they're doing!

-TBH I think you will be hard pushed to find someone saying 'I raight ******* h8 them FM's fam they is r8 bad man’. FM's are fine. There are only two things wrong with this server and their names are Dan. Death to Galtor plague children.

(Seriously, there is no point in asking, FM's are fine, the website apparently is why people don't use the forms a lot anymore)

The FM does a great job and I agree with everything stated above. the fonts is eh eh, but I totally believe we should be able to edit our posts at any time.

I think the Fm's should be the only ones who moderate the forums because frankly, you guys are really professional about it.

These forums have grown on me to be honest.

Onto the FM team, I'm not sure if it's just that I've matured or that the staff has gotten better within the past few weeks, but I'm liking the current staff. The staff really just need to have a better relationship with people not in their group, so people can see them as people as well. This, of course, applies to all higher up staff positions.
