Overture

 

With the return of House Rovin and the birth of the Second realm, the union of Khalestine and Aesterwald forms the Königreich of Vandoria. Let this constitution serve as a promise to the realm’s people and a beacon of light ensuring better days to come for the Faithful and Loyal. We the new Regime of Vandoria unite those of old through Order, Honor, and Camaraderie. We do seek to spread the Values of Vander to all those under His Dictatorship and Vandalore through this established Constitution to insure the wellbeing of Vandoria’s People, Her Lands, and the Vander Code She stands for.

The Establishment of the Aulic Council

 

We the new Regime of Vandoria do proclaim and establish the Aulic Council to act as the chief advisors to the High Dictator.

 

The High Dictator

High Dictator Frederick Rovin II, The Second Vandalore

The High Dictator’s rule is absolute. He is the head of the Aulic Council and has the ability to call for meetings both in schedule and in emergencies. The High Dictator has the power to move and revoke titles as he pleases. He also has the authority to revoke practices started by Aulic Council members. The High Dictator may also add council positions as needed.

 

Lord Chancellor

Lord Faiz Kharadeen, Caliph of Khalestine and the Qalasheen

The mouth of the High Dictator, the Chancellor forms and breaks ties with the foreign powers surrounding Vandoria. The Lord Chancellor of Vandoria is trusted to keep relations with the nations of Vailor that the High Dictator sees fit. The Lord Chancellor is also expected to keep all alliances intact unless the High Dictator orders so. Ambassadors of the realm generally work under the Lord Chancellor. Should the High Dictator be absent, the Lord Chancellor acts as head of the Aulic Council.

 

Lord Marshal

Lord Alaric Randall of House Rovin

The military of Vandoria is one of the most important aspects of the realm, being the men who protect the borders from the dangers of the realm. The Lord Marshal takes direct control of the bannermen forces in times of war and also leads inspections of bannermen forces periodically to ensure stability and protection in the realm. The Lord Marshal  is also considered the Noble Ser of Vandoria, all knights under the banner of the High Dictator would report to him.

Lord Steward

Lord Adil, The Vandalore’s Champion

The Lord Steward is the chief administrator of the High Dictator’s land, developing town charters, administering taxes, and establishing firm control of the lands within de jure Vandoria. They also ensure the stewards of other towns are working efficiently and doing their work.

 

Magistrate of Truth

Head of the Ministry of Truth, the Magistrate of Truth’s duties are to deliver the High Dictator’s word to the masses in order to counter false accusations meant to incriminate the High Dictator in the ‘Pinky’s Agenda’.The magistrate of truth is also charged with the duty of bringing those new to the Realm of Vailor to the realm.

 

Magistrate of Research and Development

Head of the Ministry of Research and Development, The Magistrate of Research and Development’s duties are to create and improve the defenses of the realm with the use of non-magical mechanisms such as redstone.

Establishment of The Law of the Land

 

We the new Regime of Vandoria do proclaim and establish a set of laws for the Königreich to follow. It should be noted that anything not listed in this set of laws is left for the ‘states’ within the Königreich to establish as they see fit. It is the will of this new Regime though to change these set of laws through amendments, with due notice, as we see fit.

 

Speaking blasphemy towards "The Vander Code's" degeneracy clause is forbidden. Doing so warrants execution and banishment.

Plotting against officials of the Regime and its vassals is considered High Treason. Doing so warrants execution and banishment.

 

In times of international conflict, nobles may hire out their bannermen as mercenaries. However, should the realm officially declare war or be invaded upon, the High Dictator and/or Lord Marshal have the authority to rally all bannermen under one banner for the common goal of the realm. Refusal is high treason and warrants execution and banishment.

 

The use of Dark Magic of any form is prohibited in the realm. Being caught practicing Dark Magic warrants execution and banishment.

 

Bribery and Extortion is outlawed within the Realm. Performing either of these acts warrants capital punishment.

 

Laying harm, with intention to kill or brutally maim, upon civilians in the realm not in the name of the Law or the High Dictator’s will warrants execution and banishment.

Establishment of an Article of Rights

 

All citizens of the realm are free to pursue unhindered commerce within the boundaries of the Law (if boundaries are put into place).
 

All Noble Houses within the realm are free to give the title of ‘Ser’ to recognized men of honor within their ranks should they wish to.

 

All Noble Houses within the realm are free to pursue unhindered business at the international level including but not limited to hired swords, bounty hunting, etcetera. This right may be taken away in times of emergency.

 

All citizens of the realm are free to pursue the religion of their choice so long as it is considered “morally acceptable.” The worship of dark entities including but not limited to Iblees is strictly forbidden. All religious organizations shall be treated as guilds and therefore treated equally under the law.

 

All citizens are free to pursue a happy life so long as it is not one of degeneracy. Degenerate lifestyles include but are not limited to beastiality, practicing dark magic, ‘white knighting’, anarchism.

 

All citizens are entitled to their opinion and the ability to voice it as long as it does not contradict the previous right or include sedition.

 

Noble Houses within the realm that have sworn fealty to House Rovin or a House under House Rovin may form a bannermen group to protect their holdings and aid the realm in times of emergency.

 

All citizens who are not deemed felons are free to carry a weapon on them for self defense purposes.
