Wendigo 786 Share Posted January 30, 2016 The sun sets on the five hooded figures as they look upon Asul’llir “Any moment now...” one would comment. Suddenly the ground would rumble, the figures stumbling for balance as one falls into the water. Soon after, another force shakes the ground accompanied by an explosion that rips through the air. An arcane pillar, bathed in different shades of cerulean and ivory light, bursts out of the ground as the earth ruptures from the explosion. Any mages would sense a surging flash of voidal power pass them as they go about their daily lives. As the ground stills and the figures gather their bearings, they would look upon what they had wrought, a stunned silence hanging over them, before one finally burst out laughing. The ground rumbled beneath the five figures, as they viewed the arcane explosion ripple open the face of the island, possibly grandiose enough to cause a voidal node to form. "Magnificent! Splendid! Vorroch peered onward, curling his armoured digits taut into his light gauntlet whereas a grin paints his arid lips, the desolate cavern brimming with ash and smoke and the fire roared onward, licking along the cave walls before he'd press onward. Beneath his feet the earth drew lifeless as an opaque mist ran through the soil, clutching 'pon the emerald blades to turn them an ill hue; blotched with ebon spots. Shortly afterward the emaciated visage of Vorroch would twist, carving a scarlet hue into the stone below via eldritch means -- shortly after, the scarlet insignia would burn brightly and he'd promptly depart from the now ruined abode. Thin fingers wrapped tightly about the arms of the seat, moving only as his breathing requites as he is relayed the information by an informant, it seems to have no effect, though.. ..A small smirk forms upon his ghastly features.
