"This is quite a... Dank Congress.." Muttered the elf, keeping all his other thoughts to himself, though his expression seems pleased with the ongoing negotiations and decisions.

Having listened to each response regarding his final, offered terms, Vapor of Apex makes concluding statements to the representatives of Aengudaemonica.

15 hours ago, Tsuyose said:

Herun retained his gaze upon Nimdravur, awaiting his response- he'd proceed to repeat himself to the now silent Nimdravur ::

"If you want to begin, then the Paladins recently suffered a wound. A Paladin of ours lost her arm to a man that wields life and shadow I can only presume it is a Necromancer or Shade if not both perhaps you’d be willing to inquire, or investigate. He went by the name of Haskaal. I'd like him alive so the Paladins may enact justice for our wounded sister.

Then we may conclude this meeting after we've discussed our terms fair, I presume I'll be taking the mantle and representing both Orders, then, as the Paladin representative and, as the Tahariaen prophet has claimed I'll be finalizing what happens next, so, I wait for you."

He spoke, tone low, calm albeit solemn; "I do not desire war." He'd idly comment.

[Repeating for Cameron after a conversation on Skype. He'll reply to it when he can.]

"If it is retribution you seek, then it shall be found should you follow our terms. We shall affirm this justice-bringing by applying the 'eye for an eye' policy; the one known as Haskaal, unbeknownst to I, shall be found and his arm removed, but kept alive if the circumstances permit it. This is the agreement we of Xion shall offer, and nothing more shall be done to him. If the Necromancer's life is taken, there will be repercussions; that is, unless your 'sister' had succumbed to her grievous wound."

19 hours ago, Corvoo said:

The group of three Druids would be sharing quiet whispers, occasionally shaking their heads or nodding. Eventually, the red-haired one would stand up his hands behind his back. He'd clear his throat, before speaking.

"I'd first like to apologize for our silence. We did not have anything to add on to what the Paladins and Clerics have been saying, and were more comfortable waiting until we felt it was time to speak our part."

He'd nod after saying this, his gaze shifting in between the many people at the meeting.

"Our main priority is defending the balance of nature, rather than the descendants. Void magic itself disrupts that balance, dark magic even more so. We propose that Xion puts strict regulations in place on the use of any dark magic. And when such magic is used and caused a great imbalance, the mage or mages that caused it be held accountable. I have seen firsthand the damage magics such as necromancy do to nature, and the balance. That must be controlled, and regulated."

"We most certainly do support the self-governing. If anything, something like that would help make sure that nature does not have to carry such a large burden, assuming Xion is willing to put strict regulations on dark magics."

"Another point that needs to be addressed. In the past, I have witnessed individuals from Xion preaching their beliefs to settlements, and even to Druids in our own Grove. We want that to stop. Those of our Order do not preach our beliefs onto others, if people are interested in following the path we walk, then we let them come to us. We are more than willing to negotiate, and be neutral with Xion. But going out and preaching, recruiting others and whatnot. It only succeeds in putting a larger strain on nature and the balance, once more individuals learn these magics."

He'd sigh, rubbing his forehead for a moment, before continuing.

"Lastly, regarding the incident with Artimec and his Naelu'rir. I must stress the fact that nothing he says or does should be considered representative of what we at the Order think or believe. Please accept my apologies for the... Entrance he made."

He'd nod, before taking a seat once again.

"As we, the heralds of Xion, have uttered, among other adherents, we of Xion wish to reform the Mortal Arts into what they meant to be; the meddlings of reanimation and the chaotic conjuration of taint from the forces of life, among the other practices of the Dark Arts, shall be moderated and controlled in order to prioritize the reconstruction of the lost magics of the mortal world. It is only through such processes that we may make the Mortal Arts 'natural' once more.

The act of bringing others to follow the Way of Man is non-negotiable; ours is an obscure, coveted ideology, once wide-spread in the ancient ages, and to let it rot in the tomes of libraries unchecked is to dishonor the memory of unified Man himself. We shall continue to preach - we will continue to gather. However, we will abstain from attempting to convert those of Aengudaemonica; it is apparent your minds are set on your ways, therefore 'tis a futility.

But know this: our ways are natural to this world which we inhabit. It is the spread of the doctrines of Aengudaemonica that are unnatural, for Man was meant to govern Man, and to follow his appointed, brotherly lords, not otherworlders whom offer powers improper and alien to this plane. This is simply the way of things; inarguable."

14 hours ago, Lucius de Savoie said:

"I will simply say now to confirm before the Xan prophet takes on representation of both orders. The blade requested will remain in the possession of the clerics. It will be placed within the vault and left locked, the key and the vaults location known only to myself and the Xan prophet. The blade will be only be released during the most dire of times against the forces of darkness when the order of Xionists presuming the agreement is formed, fail to keep one who proves troublesome in line and they prove too much for our own forces to handle.

As the artificer and keeper of our blessed tools I would see it surrendered to me by Ser Rosencrantz and the previous put into play.

I hope you are all willing to accept such terms, for it is the few it is the most you will get from myself. This way the blade is kept in our possession but is also not freely roaming the realms."

Nodding his head forward towards the gathering mass as he finishes his piece he steps back to Heruns side.

"I apologise for any interruption."

"We agree to your keeping of the blade as long as it is kept locked within your 'vault'. But should the time come that the blade is used to slay Xionists - your fellow Men - under improper premise or loose provocation, we will converge upon your kind, take the weapon, and destroy it. The tolerance of the sword itself is quite generous enough; it is not supposed to be here, for it is a false portrayal of equilibrium. Light and dark are not meant to be balanced here, in this world - only the dark belongs.

Do well to understand your lords and their cold light is, by the definition of the mortal plane, are unnatural in this world, as well as all artifacts or beings that their powers encompass."

After a moments' pause, he looks around one final time prior to speaking once more.

"The first Dark Congress has concluded based on these agreements; therefore, we are all free to depart.

We are born by the dark;

Made Men by the dark;

Undone by the dark;

We fear the Old Dark,"
He drones in solemn finality.

The hooded woman by the door continues scribbling down the final words, and perhaps more than that, of the meeting as it concludes. One of the other scholars assuredly sees to the door being unlocked and held open for those departing, with whatever haste or lack thereof they have. As they exit the balcony that was their meeting place, there is plenty of time and space for them to disperse into the depths of the library to delay their exit, perhaps to avoid being followed or prying eyes. Others would make their way down the stairs, around the library's front desk, and straight out the door.

"Feel free to linger and enjoy the Library!" She comments from underneath her shroud as the collected depart.

Out from the bridge beyond the collective's domain, a pairing of fiery suits of armor and murmurs come marching into the building. The two Gravens wordlessly beckon to the stray, chain-wrapped ghost outside the meeting hall and the three converge within once Aluuvia opens the doors; they steer straight for Kozilek, the Barrowlord still taken up in her bountiful and extravagant carriage. Once the three phantoms come upon the fraudulent matron, Kozilek levitates up from her seat and joins the ghost in its elevated hover. The four return to their original orbit, placing Kozilek in their midst and front with both spatial guardians at her side and the ghost behind. The grouping pivots and slides over to linger beside the Herald of Umbrage and Herald of Embers, muted buzzing of low conversation and telepathic discourse taking their attention.

In their silenced to meager speech, the mantle-bearing spirit of the waves ceaselessly strokes the right side of her face with her left, cardinal tattooed hand whilst keeping her arms crossed over her bust. Her marauding gaze rampages about the chamber, eyes ravenous for each subject she looks at when observing every member of the congress depart, linger, or otherwise. Her eyes occasionally return to Naruntah and Nimdravur, just barely alleviated.

The ethereal Keeper of the Sapphire Mantle would provide a curt bow of his head, donning a sly albeit triumphant grin upon his arid lips.

"From this day forth, brethren, should Xion dare draw arms against us, then we will them."

"I will ensure the blade is locked taut within the confines of the vault."

"Capture this Haskaal, I would have his arm severed by none other than myself. I assure you- no, I give you my word that Haskaal will not die by my hand. He will suffer the loss of a limb."

"Once the.. eye for an eye exchange has been handled we may then discuss further terms. If any soldier of Light is to break our terms then you must inform me and I'll deal with it promptly. I cannot say the same for the druidic ilk, however."

Herun would cast his gaze toward the blade-bearer and Daniel, gesturing the two to follow as he'd turn to depart, "I will ensure the blade is sealed before the upcoming week. Come with, Garion."

The aged Keeper twists with the ebon armour clanking, he'd promptly hoist up his gauntlets to tie his golden locks back, retaining his nonchalant albeit confident expression; uttering once more in  a low tone so only Nimdravur and the Herald's could hear ::

"I do not desire war. Order will prevail."

Naruntah shakes his head, as if the people at the other side of the room were absolutely, positively insane.  He pulls himself, back straight up upon the chair, the meeting beginning to take its toll on him.  His hoarse, frail voice throwing condescending phrases out here and there.

"Do not act as if the relic belongs to you, for no soul here has rightful claim upon it.  It belongs in the deep, dark Abyss where no lure nor pole of the vale may hook it."

He pushes his palms against the stone table, flexing out his now stiff forearms and batting the lids of the eyes he so struggled to hold awake.  He wraps one cold, greyed hand around the midsection of his walking stave, monotonously tapping it against the table as he watched the gathering conclude.

"It is fitting that all here should learn the proper manners of the soil they bloody, burn or smother."

He sighs with the gruff exhale of weak lungs, the low, guttural growl leaving his parched lips with more a distaste than an actual farewell.

"Throm'ka, chieftains of Mortal kind; Krug's honor to you, and all who would act as a pathmaker of Remnant Man."
