Orc Clans

A clan is a group of orcs that can be related and might not be related. Each clan has a Clan father, Clan mother, chieftain, elder shaman, elders, and Clan members (brothers sisters, sons etc etc). Clans are relatively self-sufficient; most have there own craftsmen and land if given by a Warlord. all the Orcs within a Clan answer to the Clan Father and Chieftain and they all answer to The Warlord's.

There is fierce competition, to gain the Warlords favor it may lead to full blown out violence, or it may end in a Pub fight, or it can be a Arena fight between clan champions. Other reasons for a clan fights are. disputes over land, hunting grounds, insulting ones honor, Adoption of members and if a Warlord commands it. However, if War is called, the Clans put aside their individual rivalries and answer the call of the Warlords. At this point past rivals become allies in order to overcome a common enemy.

How to Lose favor.

Going against a Warlords Orders. claiming land with out permission, losing battles against other races. Not paying tribute or giving supply's to the War nation, going into to many fights with other clans that leads to mush death. Losing to many clan wars. A clan father, chieftain, or elder doing a bad job in government or military.

How to gain favor.

Showing valor, strength, honor and loyalty. Wining Clan fights, paying tribute. helping the War Nation. Wining battles against other races. Following the Warlords orders and commands.

Gaining a Warlord favor

Clans are granted lands, hunting grounds, Titles, Ranks and spoils.

Falling out of favor with a Warlord

May mean utter distraction for a clan. Titles are removed lands may be destroyed, members killed, it might cause a clan to be wiped out. or it could just be a disciplinary move kill some show them whos boss.

A Warlord can command the army or other clans to bring down a clan that has fallen out of favor.

Current Clans:

Gorkil Clan: The Gorkil clan is currently in favor with Warlord Mogroka. Most Gorkils are currently rebuilding the War Nations city's and some are either in the army or in the Royal Guard also Warlord Mogroka is the Father of the clan.

Lur Clan: The Lur clan is currently in favor with Warlord Mogroka. Most Lurs are high ranking in the army. also there chieftain is currently the only Dominus of the War Nation. He is also a friend of Warlord Mogroka.

Kaxil Clan: The Kaxil clan have fallen out of the favor of Warlord Mogroka so mush as they maybe considered enemy's of Krugmar. Clan Father and chieftain is Vulgrak'Kaxil.

The Azog clan is currently in favor with Warlord Mogroka. Most Azogs regular ranking orcs in the army. Also The Azog Clan gives a better change to Lower Ranking Orcs in The Army to be a higher Rank in the Future.

The Clan Father And Chieftain is Nob_Tadok'Azog

How to create clans

You Have to see Warlord Mogorka

You will need.

Numbers 3-5, done something for the War Nation and Wealth.

there might be exception to the Wealth part if you have done something extremely good for the War Nation.

Aye I wanna see more clans! Even member of Gorkils don't be afraid to come up with interesting lore for a new clan if you feel like you have what it takes to lead a clan. Again though i say hold off on forming rifts between clans til after we have built the capital and formed and trained the army. those two things be most important right now.

Now the Kaxils are no longer a clan due to the fact they helped, housed, and worshipped the undead. Although think it was more of Vulgrak then anyone else in there hopefully.

Kaxil's are still a clan, I'm probably going to RP that most of them go hunting together or I will have someone take over the clan. I would not all of my progress on this get crushed under the one factor that I am around Undead. If I decide to play a new Orc in 2.0 or perhaps in 1.9 then I will want to have the Kaxil Clan still alive in case I feel I want to be a cannibal still.

The Undead housing was only me, I was the only tainted one. My character was tainted by Lodrick and his taint was too strong to get healed and if you tried asking him to get healed he would refuse. Ciar executed me in front of a lot of Orcs, Lodrick took my dead corpse and re-animated it, letting me survive another life.
