Lazy RoleplayEngine Guide for Lazy People.

Well, as all of you know, the RoleplayEngine plugin was released today after some hard, slave-ish work from our techs!

Some people may be lazy to watch the six minutes video over and over again, so I made this guide with the intent of guide YOU during your lovely roleplay sessions, be it getting ready to pvp, rolling your cactus green... well, you put it the way you want to. There have been a few changes to the multitude of chats, where I'll cover the changelogs and commands. But first, as this is a guide for lazy people in some way, let's start with the most basic commands!

 

Basic emote commands

* = Emote

** = [!] <emote>

's = Starts an emote with a 's

 

[NEW!] An interesting, new feature on emotes is that you can use asterisks ( * ) in the end of the phrase.

 

* = Emote

*rubs his belly with grapes.

 

** on the start or end of the phrase equals to a [!] emote.

 

[NEW!] 's = Add's an 's to your name, automatically starting an emote.

For example:

's belly is covered in grape mush.

 

VIP only new commands.

These apply for Coal VIP and above.

 

/sampletext/ = Italic

^sampletext^ = Bold

/^sampletext^/ = Both

 

"/" = Gives italic  to your emote command, meant to be used to give emphasis to your words, not for general speaking

For example:

This is a normal message, /but this one on italic./

 

OR

 

If you want to use it on the start of the message, start it with /rp

For Example:

/rp /This is a message in italic/, and this one isn't.

 

"^" = Makes your message bold

For example:

*picks a ^really huge^ boulder from the ground with no trouble at all... Because he can.

 

You may also do a mixture of both

For example:

"Do you know what is a kha's pelt on the floor? IT'S A ^/KHARPET/^

 

 

New Features Introduction:

 

/q = Speaks in a muffled tone within 8 blocks, people behind walls can't hear you.

 

 

/m = Automatically sets your chat to /r, so, instead of having to write /r to reply, you will just write the reply.

/p = Party chat, explained down below.

 

Continuity

-, +, ' or =. Once finishing your message with one of the previous symbols, your message will be saved and be continued, so you may keep writing your sentence. Default is -, may be changed on the /me menu.

 

For example:

"Hello there, my loyal squire! I see you forgot your weapons with the blacksmith for repair, so he -

asked me to bring you your sword" Ser Steelwaffles hands over the squire's sword "Be more-

careful the next time, my loyal squire!" He departs, adjusting his helmet.

 

The entire message will be sent at once.

 

 

POTENTIAL METAGAMING TOOL Party System

Now you may create parties! Currently without any uses besides talking on a group on a seperate chat to metagame, it's a fancy option.

To create a party, firstly you go to /me then do this:

 

 

To use party chat, do /p.

 

CHANGELOG

Introduction:

-Reduced Whisper range from 3 to 2

-Shout Range buffed back from 40 to 48

-Added /quiet, muffles noises behind walls, people on the surrounding 8 clear blocks can hear you.

-Added /m, toggles automatic reply, meaning you don't need to use /r

-Added party system. Create a party with the wood sword on your prism, use party chat with /p

-LOOC is now displayed as [L-OOC] instead of [LOOC]

-OOC and LOOC are now written in green text instead of white text.

-Nexus command renamed to Prism

-Added several new functions to the Prism: Toggles for emote color, quotation style, continuity and auto-ponctuaction for the purpouse of rp

One part you missed is the ~ feature to muffle any talking, including shouts!
