Hey,

I was wondering how many members of the community are playing or every played Total War.

Do you know the incoming high fantasy total war game, WARHAMMER?

Are you planning on getting it?

Gimme rep.

First Total War experience was Rome, fell in love. To this day it's still one of my favourite games. I literally never play anything anymore but I go through little stages of a week or so where I play one game and it tends to be it. I liked Empire & Napoleon a lot, but Rome II just was the biggest disappointment for me ever, it was just awful. Not looking forward to or buying Warhammer - not my cup of tea, I'll stick to the first Rome.

Try Medieval II, man. It's prettier, but old enough to have that .txt you can easily edit to unlock all factions.

It's on Steam now I think.

I'm excited...

I'm going to buy it....

But they can honestly **** themselves with this DLC bullshit. It really pains me to support a company which does such ****.

Third Age Total War is my favorite, playing as Isengard or Bree was great and interesting.

To be honest I don't mind the DLC stuff that much, considering I spend about three years just playing the absolute crap out of a total war game. By the time I'm ready to get the new ones, the entire bundle is $40. The same pattern will likely follow with Warhammer Total War, and that will be after all the fixes and stuff as well, I'll most certainly be getting it. The added variety in units like giants or skybound units should also provide for more fun when considering possibilities in a campaign.

Right now I'm finishing my grand campaign for Rome 2 before I start to focus on all its special campaigns, after that I have Atilla to look forward to.

Most recent battle, chariots are pretty nifty.

Holy hell! 2 Casulaties, not even a single archer unit. Are you sure it's not edited?

I was just as surprised as you when I actually saw the results, I'm not sure what happened there, it seemed like any other engagement.

There two are more typical, but results I'm happy with nonetheless. I like the games quite a bit.
