What do you think of our current building style?

It's not too intricate, but it gets the job done.

If we're going for a jungle environment next map, then I hope that our current architecture is converted to fit and compliment the new, much different and much less sandy atmosphere. Although I think we should go back to how we had seperate clan hubs that were close enough to eachother, instead of a centralized rp hub in the middle.

 

What do you think of the walkway leading to the city? Is it too cluttered?

It's alright.

I'm honestly not too familiar with your ambitions and hopes for the future of the Orcs to answer this question.

Spirits! Spirits should be enforced and incorporated into roleplay much more, also more Orcy stuff like racism and have honor more incorporated into Orcish society.

What would you like to see more of in terms of our RP?
Honor and spirits.

Yessir.

 

What do you think of Orc RP and where we're heading?
That we have so much room and potential to grow, yet we've been waiting for a long time to actually take the effort to.

I am hoping to maybe learn Witch Doctor shamanism and bring in the mysterious and wild side of spiritual roleplay to the Orcs in small, frequent events.

Shamanism:

Do you think Shamanism is accessible enough? Do bear in mind, it is supposed be difficult to become a Shaman.

I'm unaware of the current state of shamanism, but I hope it's at the point where the roleplay is frequent among Orcs, but it's not easy to learn it. I disliked how shamanism could've been easily taught and learned, and just hope it's more tightly knit of a magic.

 

Do you think the Shamans provide enough RP for the player-base?
Not too sure.

Plague:

What do you think of the current Orcish Plague?

I'm not too familiar with the Orcish Plague, due to me just returning to LoTC. Although it sounds like it provided enough interesting RP to be fair and fun.

 

Bearing in mind that I've struggled to get events, do you think it has provided adequate RP to the community?

Yes.

Would you like to get more involved? If so, how?

Actually be around to participate in RP and events, bringing in my Orcs actions and knowledge.

More tight knit, less other races RP. Orcs actively participating among themselves, working as a whole to honor the Spirits and their clans.

San'Tharaka is really made with alot of affort, detail and professionalism, very happy with it. About the 5.0, wont like seeing something familiar cuz it'd be boring with a samilar city over n over.

I actually thought that another rp hub that you could actually do something in would be grrat instead of a square.

Dungeons. Puzzles.  Every event in the uzg is MOSTLY hunting. I enjoyed the corrupted ologs but thats rly the only one I remember but hunting.

Yes, orcish leaders r mostly active and I dont usually **** around looking for help or something, but id say that HedgeHugs doing a great job with his position in the council, hes like a very active orc hes ig from 9am all the way to 2am gmt every day idk how hes still alive.

Niet.
What would you like to see more of from myself?

Just keep being a great rex n keep fixing and helping

Yes, sooner or later i guess you could get to shamanism like most other magics in our server

Brings alot of rp both to us and to the other community.

It's suffering CT Docks syndrome, distribute all of that clutter because otherwise it looks bloated and ugly.

No, but only real RP site(s) is the walkway in front of the city and the statue in city entrance.

Social interaction without it being forced through community events, ie Raiding, Hunting, and etc.

Less bursts of activity for only certain things and more just general RP, but need activity before we can get to that point.

Probably, believe almost every player does.

It is good but like most races, the curses are not RPed well at all by the playerbase.

Spirit walks and environmental events. Yes hunting events are liked and fairly important to Orcish culture but shouldn't turn it to status quo for what events are offered/asked for.

Sure.

Leadership:

 

Do you think the Orc Leadership is pro-active/active enough?

 

Yes, but could do with more people having initiative to collaborate and get things done than simply Shamans and Rex at times.

Is there anything you dislike about the current leadership?

 

Nope.

What would you like to see more of from myself?

 

Not over-working yourself for the Orcs and ending up like most Rexes, and being a candle that burns twice as bright but goes out twice as fast.

 

Shamanism:

Do you think Shamanism is accessible enough? Do bear in mind, it is supposed be difficult to become a Shaman.

 

Feels as if some branches of Shamanism are slowly dying off due to low population of Shaman playerbase having/using that sub-type.

 

Do you think the Shamans provide enough RP for the player-base?

 

Like most more exclusive groups, some Shamans provide good amount of RP while others are inactive/not seen very much.


Plague:

What do you think of the current Orcish Plague?

 

It's a good player driven drive to add flavor to Vailor but I feel as if in the end it will end in more salt than smiles.

 

Bearing in mind that I've struggled to get events, do you think it has provided adequate RP to the community?
 

Yup it has, but has potential to provide much more.

Generally the community holds up alright to be apart of, but sometimes TS and Skype chats can be pretty cringey and ignorant.

Better ability to pick up when being cringey with jokes or offensive.

Yep, hopefully with the terrain comes about a active population to inhabit it and build upon it. Also hunting is finally gonna be a lot more interesting creature wise.

What direction would you like to see the Orcs head in when we transition?

 

Focus on building the Orcish playerbase with events and such, wars/raiding only offers short term bursts of energy. Also should try and not have a moving capital every three months next map.

The walkway is rather default, the shrines are serving their purpose. It could be cleaned up but the shrines should remain there.

As noticable by the occasional swarming around my shomo den (player made rp hub in the city) I think we should invest in making similar places in future designs. I'm talking simple places where orcs can sit semi-privately. Small campfires, little dens etc etc. can improve roleplay in the city.

You have done excellent work!

The current orcish playerbase is very versatile. There is focus on a lot of things and that is good. I must press that we must work together a bit more resource wise. An all-share policy if you will.

What would you like to see more of in terms of our RP?

More emphasis on acting to please the spirits.

Do you feel you have room for progression?

Doing more shaman stuff publicly as I do, for it generates interest and makes orcs act towards the spirits as they should.

 

What do you think of Orc RP and where we're heading?

The orcish culture is a great one! Though tough to get into it is one of the most interesting ones I have encountered on LotC thus far. We head for greatness in 5.0


Events:

 

What kind of events would you like to see more of around the Uzg? Admittedly, they're lacking as a whole at the moment.

Hunting events, for it is an important part of our culture. We have a vacant Huntsgoth rank for we simply have no hunts to hunt.

We have had good eventlines in the past. But with Dark Shamanism gone the orcs might need a new antag that can lead to some minor events.

The Uzg is big, and in 5.0 it shall remain so. Plenty of room for interesting sites to be made.

 

Would you be willing to run and organise small events if you were put in contact with the leadership?

As part of the leadership I contribute myself, though I highly suggest players take initiative themselves.

I am quite content with the current state of leadership.

There is only so much you can do buddy, I'm content with you as rex and will rip apart anyone who dares contest.

As a shaman I can't really answer this.

I try my best on keeping a large part of the shamanism (so the non-combat aspect) publically. I perform rituals in my semi-private Shomo den and all orcs and even slaves / captives are free to witness this part of orcish culture.

It's not my favorite but I like it better than other builds we've had in the past, such as the Trog.

Given that we've been talking about going to a jungle, I don't think the current style of architecture would seem to fit.

There are plenty of places to RP but the problem is that people don't stay there to actually RP.

I think that we have a good direction for 5.0 but I also think we should go back to Arteh's post as we entered Vailor where he posted points that the if completed would help the orcs advance as a group. I think we need to evaluate what we have accomplished during Vailor and what still needs to be done.

I think it's lacking all together in existence.

What would you like to see more of in terms of our RP?

A focus on racial and religious dominance.
 

Do you feel you have room for progression?

An emphasis that shamanism is a great thing, but not all great orcs need to be shamans but can simply be fantastics warriors or leaders.

Honestly I'm not the most active and I don't really know where we're heading aside from the fact that we have an abundance of soon to be honoraries that I personally don't think meet the standard for who should be an honorary.

Events:

 

What kind of events would you like to see more of around the Uzg? Admittedly, they're lacking as a whole at the moment.

In my opinion the orcs on LotC have the most creative lore on the server and is almost the least restrictive which creates a large margin for creative freedom. I think we should have shamans leading events, even if the events don't directly have to do with interacting with the spirits, such as if a shaman lead the construction of a shrine and then orcs gathered and had a feast in honor of the blessings the spirit had bestowed on the orcs. Or maybe even an event more culturally traditional such as the world cactus (that we still do not have). Or anything besides the typical tournaments and hunts that we have been doing all realm.

 

Would you be willing to run and organise small events if you were put in contact with the leadership?
Sure I would, I'd love to actually. I think I have been a member of the Orc community for a long enough time that I can handle this and honestly I should be acting like somebody who has been a part of the orc community since early Athera rather than somebody who isn't engaged in the nation's activites.

Yes. Smaw has been a very good Rex, better than a few of his predecessors. 

Is there anything you dislike about the current leadership?

I feel like we could raid more, raids lead by the Rex or other orcs with high ranking titles.

More titles given out, more opurtunities for orcs to lead certain things, maybe? Generally you're doing a spectacular job.

Shamanism:

Do you think Shamanism is accessible enough? Do bear in mind, it is supposed be difficult to become a Shaman.\

I think that it is at an alright spot currently, although I think it should be harder for honoraries to get the priveledge to learn it than other orcs.

Nope. We need the current shamans to lead events or teach people who will be more proactive.

It really hasn't affected me at all, but I don't really think it's all too necessary.

I think we should be more isolated from the other nations and focus on bettering ourselves while being very welcoming to new players.

I think that we need to be actively trying to teach our lore and culture to the new players who often times get confused by it and that leads to poor RP. We have very deep lore and the shamans (who are meant to be experts of the lore) could definitely teach people by explaining it to them OOCly or in RP. I think that it should be a little less cramped, and be more wooden and tent-style in 5.0, also it would be kinda neat to have some buildings in the orcish WoW style, those buildings look great.

I've seen in recent times people calling each other whitewash for being friendly-ish to non-orcs when in friendly foreign territory.
