thankyou to the very wise people that @ me about the druidic order why cant u's just sit in a fat tree in wood elf place or some **** why do you have to have your own place you're only special snowflakes because you give the gm/admin team that counter clockwise rim. It's a joke, GMs either come from Druids or High Elves. Very biased. Disgrace. P.S. the age of your niche rp group has no relevance towards whether or not you should receive land. Similar problems in previous times to the Kharajyr. Joke of a system, learn from your mistakes.

Friendly reminder that their is such a thing as RP density becoming to dense and that this self neutering charter system negates the down sides of a big map while allowing the positives to remain.

This alone makes me happy.

Guilds

I didn’t much want guilds to be a part of the manpower system, and thus concluded that people should be able to support their admired nation whilst also being a part of these more selective groups. Although I’m not going to release more information at this time, guilds will be allocated a fief plot independent of nations through an application system.

Oh! That's nice. Our guild has rather successfully allied with our chosen nation, so we may not even need it, really, but it's good to know this is an option.

IMO the map should be way smaller, a lot closer to the size of Athera.  I've only played Athera and Vailor, but I much prefer the former.  I feel there was much more RP to be had, with the roadside taverns and smaller map size.  LotC is about RP, the interactions between real players, so why have a giant map the spreads everything out and makes a miserable time for someone who just wants to find an interesting RP situation right away.  In Vailor I spend waaaay more time travelling from cart to boat, capital to capital, nation to nation, searching for RP, and it takes far too long to find anything than it's worth.  This was a bit ranty, that's my opinion on the matter.

Athera was poorly designed and the stupid way regions were managed made livable space almost nonexistent. It had the gross size about right though.

The design and map layout was poor, true, with all the capitals on the main road being a ~30 second walk apart, but the gross size was definitely about right, maybe a map slightly larger would work more for the modern LotC with a different layout.  Oh well, instead we'll be getting our massive EU4 map to **** around with.
