1 1393 Share Posted August 25, 2016 Recent discussions have brought me to being generally curious as to how people group up on LoTC dependent upon their political views. From what I personally have noticed, along with others, is that there is some sort of trend within each community. Yet for the matter of research I have decided to make this post, and if you wish to participate to gain a result and just post your political area it would be great! When posting please post what your group on LoTC is. For the purpose of getting a result any sub group of a major nation will be considered to just be that major nation, but feel free to still detail it. A good tool to capture your political views is The Political Compass, please post an image of the charted result you get on there. Space 2335 Share Posted August 25, 2016 pretty much not part of any clique, so I'd say independent? I mean I RPed with the Druids, but I don't particularly identify with that cancer OOC/don't RP with them much anymore. But, I guess if you had no independent category, Druid. zaezae 1098 Share Posted August 25, 2016 First question I got literally is a loaded question. You're asking if I want to be authoritarian or libertarian with inter-national companies but frame it with "Do you hate people, or not?" Come on man. "My race is better than other races" has nothing to do with right or left, and even less to do with libertarian/authoritarian. Who the hell made this? grimmothy 188 Share Posted August 25, 2016 So here's where I am, but there's a couple of things to look at here, the quiz is too poorly written to be taken very seriously. Also, a lot of the questions don't have any relevance to the grid at all. Example A: "Astrology accurately explains many things.". I'm not sure how your personal views about various belief systems could possibly be meaningful in relation to your political views, but there are more important things here. The other issue here is some of the questions take your answer and ignore the nuances of what that could mean "Making peace with the establishment is an important aspect of maturity.". I chose strongly disagree, for the reason that personally I don't think becoming content with something like a broken political system is a mark of maturity, along with a large number of the other questions here, I think they were worded to poorly to really be taken seriously. For the record if I placed the dot myself, I would have put it about three quarters of the way up on the far left side. Also I don't really have a clique, but I tend to hang out with luv and co. a lot so I guess that would be it?

There is such a thing as childishly attacking authority and another to completely become a doormat to it.

Seliyne 196 Share Posted August 25, 2016 This quiz is a joke and paints conservatives in a saturday-afternoon cartoon villainesque light. I'm not sure how you can even get onto the conservative authoritarian quadrant without purposefully trolling the system. I'm pretty much an authoritarian centrist but for some reason not agreeing that religion is life makes me a liberal. OK. Oren
