History

1576 - Departure

Spoiler

"And so the caravan came to a stop. Their destination reached. It was a difficult travel. For not only the distance was great, with each step the orcish shamans would feel themselves betray their brotherin'. Shaking off these spins of thought they focused at the real task that they had. Their real goals, not those of false leaders, or the ambitions of a nation... no... The shamans know that their spirituality is not to be bound to a nation, nor be oppressed by one. It is its own entity, and is to be preserved.. therefore.. we move. A campsite was build and the orcs and various other descendants gathered around a fire. Here it would all start..."

Objective

Preservation

The Shamanic and Spiritual faith has long been a tight organisation. A clique if you will. Now the time has come for all to prosper, and spread the faith. If shown to be loyal, and proven their devotion to the Spirits: all descendants should be able to join The Angathgûl.

Balance

All still know the horrors, that brought down the Realm of Vailor. And the Shamanic council knows well, that such should be prevented at all cost. The blind ambition of a single shaman, brought forth the end of a realm, and the destruction of a Spirit. The spiritual realms were out of balance, for no spirit should become powerful enough to access the Realm of Mortals. Therefore, The Angathgûl tasks itself with maintaining the balance that has been restored, with the destruction of Orgon.

Assist

Furthermore, the council and members of The Angathgûl shall occupy themselves, and devote their time to aiding all in need of their guidance, council or help. This can vary from educating the ignorant to contacting the spirits and request for knowledge or aid. Among these services are: The contacting of Ancestors, The creation of Curses on Demand, The aid in Elemental matter (Such as moving boulders from paths), The creation of Spirit Imbued Items, The blessing on Demand.

Purge

Lastly The Angathgûl shall fight all that is unholy, undead or unnatural. Those who play with lifeforce, create abominations that are from beyond this realm, or access and use the void shall be purged. For the order wishes to clean the Realm of such filth.

The Council

To maintain order within The Angathgûl, few were elected through a vote. These will lead and represent the Order as a whole. The following titles were given to:

High-Shaman: Shagarath of Yar

Motsham: Thurak of Yar

Those that Follow

The following of the Order are to pledge full loyalty to the members of the council. Their lives: devoted to worshiping the spirits. The Angathgûl, shall become their home, their life. These ones are split up into two groups: Those that Serve, and Those that Act. It is not an obligation (nor a given), for a member of The Angathgûl to become a shaman. There are those who aspire to commune with the spirits and obtain their powers. And simply those who wish to aid, or merely seek for their knowledge. They can live without the powers, but not without their guidance. All members, being a shaman or non shaman, shall respect a fellow member. Even though some might be of an other descendant race. Obviously due to our fourth goal of 'the purge' we cannot allow users of any other magic to join. On top of this it is a given, that departing from the order is punished by death. For shan't turn their back to the spirits.

The Muyakelg

Those that were once immortal in the lands of Stargush'Stroh, the orcish afterlife, that now walk this realm are the Muyakelg. These beings are the guardians of the order. They shall act to protect all that are within The Angathgûl. They are to be respected, for they are simply put: spirits themselves. These constructs sailing mortal vessels are driven by an ancestral spirit, answering only to its creators. Such power shall therefore be kept within The Council, and not be given out to outsiders.

Diplomacy

The Angathgûl answers to the spirits, and spirits alone. Mortal leaders of nations and land are not acknowledged to have power over them. They are left be if they form no obstruction.

The Angathgûl recognizes other beings of divine nature, and those that follow them. They are left be if they form no obstruction.

The Angathgûl despises that what is unnatural and undead, and shall act to purge such.

The Angathgûl despises those that access the abnormality that is the void, and shall act to purge such.

The Angathgûl recognizes the Aspects as separate entities that act alongside Freygoth and work in unison.

The Angathgûl supports the Temple of the Ancestors and the Dark Elven religion, for their ancestors and ours live along side one another.

Joining

As said numerous times, any descendant that is motivated, loyal and devoted enough shall be tested and accepted. The Angathgûl's location is a secret, in their home of 'San'Zagh'. Any member of The Council has the ability to accept a new member and thus it is advised to send  a bird to these people.

- To join one must be spiritually attuned. This entails that the person lives by the ways of the spirits and wishes to serve and please them.

- Upon joining one is not guaranteed to be gifted the shamanic arts.

- A joined member shall live by the rules of those that lead the order.

- Members shall respect the alliances that are and were made.

- Leaving ones fellow brotherin results to punishments.

- Committing of crimes against the four tenants or disrespecting of diplomatic alliances, results in punishments.
