LatzMomo 2088 Share Posted October 14, 2016 So, the only armor you can wear is boots? :/ Also, can you do a raid while you're doing a heist? Example: Group1 raids Settlement, Group2 does a heist on settlement while guards are distracted with raid.

Nah, that'd just be taking 14 people to a raid essentially
Kanrath 190 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Time to build another secret vault..hell perhaps I'll let people pay me to install a hidden vault if they want one...Impossible to locate, and keyed to specific items.

That's 600 iron blocks. And this somehow RPly makes sense? I don't know how much people think iron blocks weigh, but personally I'd say they each weigh about 1 iron chest plate. Of course it'd be unfair to say different races can carry different amounts of weight when an olog's chest plate takes the same amount of materials to make as a halfling's chest plate, thus I think that each person should be limited to carrying 4 iron blocks each (with all 4 iron blocks being able to stack in 1 slot of course). EDIT: I chose the number 4 because I think that's pretty much the maximum of number of iron chest plates that a person would be able to carry in real life. In minecraft, there are indeed 4 slots for armor, but only the chest plate is able to fit on the chest with ease, so wearing 1 chest plate on and holding 3 chest plates at the same time is probably difficult because of the space they take up and the weight.

You can't argue realism when it comes to minecraft because if those blocks are 1mx1mx1m then that block will weigh close to 8000 kg, something no human being is able to lift one of, let alone 4. Textarea 719 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Just now, cablam said: You can't argue realism when it comes to minecraft because if those blocks are 1mx1mx1m then that block will weigh close to 8000 kg, something no human being is able to lift one of, let alone 4. I guess that's true but when it comes to iron blocks being used in roleplay, I think their weight would be almost equivalent to the weight of an iron chest plate. Jistuma 1996 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Alright, lets ask for loopholes now. If someone takes a donkey with chests to the outdoors of the settlement, and then leave someone there, and then throw stuff over the walls to the one there and place it in the donkey, can they take more than the 3 slots per person since it's the donkey taking it? And in tune with the last one, can they just move the stuff from one chest to another in the same settlement, to then go there and collect it another time? And another, can they move from one locked chest (lockpicked in) to another locked chest (also lockpicked) to try and frame someone else for example? Also, can't the heist be about sabutage? Like destroying resources and the like? Or burning a building, or something? Or is that just a normal raid?
Textarea 719 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Excellent questions, Jistuma! Also, I don't think storing items in your ender chest during a heist was mentioned yet... And since players can craft iron ingots into iron blocks, does this mean that they can craft iron ingots into Iron Bars/Iron Beams/Buckets/Iron Doors/Iron Trapdoors/Iron Wires? If yes, then can the attackers just craft all of the iron that they can't take with them into Iron Bars and just leave them in the victim's chests? I think if someone were to just login and all of their items were missing, they'd probably want some video evidence that a heist with actual good RP occurred. Heists will probably make players ban report each other more often and also result in players quitting from their items being stolen and nobody doing anything about it. Jistuma 1996 Share Posted October 15, 2016 Or turn them into anvils instead of taking the iron blocks.
Textarea 719 Share Posted October 16, 2016 Can you steal from donation chests? You will be able to see the items inside before making up a valid RP reason for the heist to take place. Can ender VIPs and aether VIPs use /hat to carry items other than helmets in the hat slot during heists?
