A new life

Upon hearing the news Leilatha Devione, a loyal Warhawke, begins to back her stuff up. She'd look around, a smile would form on her face, she does not cry, but remembers. All the good times she has had with the Warhawkes, her family. The people who took her in and gave her a purpose. She'd take a walk around Riv'vallel, she'd remember the time she was brought into the Warhawkes, chuckling to herself as she remembers how nervous she was. Looking up at the night sky she closes her eyes. "Oren can take away our homes, our village, they can hunt us down one by one, but we are the Warhawkes, we know the meaning of family and loyality, and they can never take that away from us." She'd continue to walk, running her hands over the fabric of the tents. "I hope.. I know they are happy, suffering is what gives those humans joy, I will not have my head be filled with sorrow, but with happy memories." She goes up to the willow tree, putting her hand on its trunk "van'ayla ito igne'acaela" she'd  say softly to the tree. She'd sit by the tree, criss-crossing her legs and close her eyes. She'd listen to the sound of the birds, the chatter of her fellow Warhawkes, what will become of her child? Her lover? Her family. These thoughts go through her head as she opens her eyes and takes a look around the place she calls her home.

A mali'ker trots his horse back and forth along the outer walls of the Warhawkian lands, blue face paint covering half of his visage.

"Yes, fight and you will die. Run, and you'll live -- At least for a while... And dying in your beds centuries from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one change, just one chance to come back here and tell the Oreners that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!"

"God bless." Said Ser Avenel.

"Perhaps they can flee and evade the judgement that comes," offers Hermann, still sharpening his saber, "And if such damned souls do evade our mortal judgement, we are satisfied in knowing that they shall live the remainder of their pitiful lives in abject fear, hunted like the animals they are. The next best thing is sometimes adequate enough."

'Those innocents of the Warhawkes are welcome to the Dominion,' a notice reads, posted throughout Linandria, Ker'nor, Riv'vallel, and Hae'lunor. 'The children shall not die for the crimes of the father. Return to the fold, wayward 'ker, and live in peace, without fear.'

"I would rather die than betray my family" Leilatha would say to her best friend. "Seems like that will happen.." She says with a sigh as she watches her son play.

A ghastly figure of curling black smog hovers above a whetstone in the Savoyard swamps. Orbs of black collect at the mechanism's pedal. The sharp hiss of metal cuts through the chatter of swamplife.

"Kin-slayers and accomplices of the reddened Hiishtgûl. Where the crusade comes to an end, my Wild Hunt begins."

The Spectre muses aloud. Frost collecting at the handle of the blade.

"Xan guide my blade. Warhawks and Axis alike will die martyrs by the end of the seed."

Erolas would walk through the town. he stops as he hears Leilatha talking "They do not understand what loyalty and family are. their greed drives them far. they would rather slaughter and pillage then to seek peace. even the innocent in riv'vallel are not safe. i am but a simple breeder and blacksmith, but my name still went on that list... its funny, only my bretheren know my full name... i wonder how they obtained such a thing?" he shrugs as he continued to walk through the town

Vas rolls his eyes at his sister's annoying hatred for the warhawkes. He can't help but feel a heavy amount of sympathy for them, however he would never say that out loud to his family. ((This post made me so sad so I just had to find an excuse to reply to it. <3
