He inherently didn't do anything, and I would like a proper response on why he cannot be unbanned. He is a changed man with priapism. Please. I just want this server to be fun once more and to roleplay with my good friend. No one should be barred from minecraft roleplay. Please. I miss @tapesauce @tapedindu. He was posting scientific material for research, you all just took it the wrong way. Genital mutilation is a topic that shouldn't be shy'd away from, and should be addressed so we can prevent it further. He was bringing light to real world issues. Tapesauce apparently has a long history, was given chances to avoid perma-bans and even said he is likely to "relapse." Several staff teams seemed to think that we don't need that type of behavior on LOTC. Just because one person got unbanned via this method doesn't mean it's effective. If anything it pushes the current staff into the idea that Tape no longer belongs in the community. However because I don't know the situation 100% I am not gonna sit here and condemn the player. Perhaps he has changed or perhaps he just has friends who think rules don't matter. Idk I'm not upper staff so it's not really my concern. I just know that this post doesn't put Tapesauce in a good light. Also so if you guys ever have to appeal at least don't use the plea of "I forgot what I did." I don't believe in permabans but using that line sounds like an excuse and excuses don't help get you unbanned. I only ever banned a hand full of players from the server but I guess if I was Tapesauce I would try to get whoever initially banned him to vouch for his return. Good luck. ski_king3 0 Share Posted December 15, 2016 Indeed, I must agree with @Sir K Andruske's sentiments that these threads and status updates are counterproductive to your goal. At the very least, they notified me (I believe the last person who banned him, the last two or three times he was banned), which pushed me to PM an Admin discouraging his unban. Don't do this, it doesn't help, particularly when it's someone who has had three or four "last chances," particularly when the last time he was unbanned, the unbanning staff member made a decision very unpopular among the staff at the time to unban him, expressed this, and he got himself banned again very shortly thereafter.
