ski_king3 0 Share Posted December 20, 2016 Hail friends of Malinor! Today the ET 2.0 is coming at you with another little competition, this one being for your best screenshots! We hope to use these to start up a new bank of screenshots to be used for advertising purposes, so bring us any and all of your best work! Rules: Screenshots must be from this map! Any texture packs, shaders, or other aesthetic mods can be used. Feel free to submit as many as you want. Don’t plagiarize or I’ll ask a GM to ban you. Must be submitted before the end of 2016 as a reply to this thread (I’ll make a post closing it formally). You give the ET 2.0 and LotC staff permission to use any screenshots you submit for advertising purposes. Judging: These will be judged with advertising in mind, which is why we’re allowing any editing at your disposal. If you’re going to submit multiple, consider making them different. We won’t award prizes just to cities with a pretty sunset and shaders hanging over them, be creative. We’re an RP server, if you can find a way to make screenshots of RP look nice, that’s a big bonus. Prizes: Rather than doing tiered prizes, we’re going to be rewarding 1k and a fancy holiday RP item for the five screenshots we deem to be the best. Please make sure your submissions are posted as a response to this thread, and include the MC name you'd like the prize distributed to, as well as your skype or Discord (so we can contact you more easily if you win). Xerihsob 33 Share Posted December 20, 2016 I don't expect to win as I'm doing exactly what you said not to do but oh well; a good chance to dump all my screenies. All photos taken in a lossless format and 4k resolution using a SEUS v11.0 Custom Preset then compressed down surprisingly well by photoshop. I would have attached a transparent LotC logo to the photo as many others have but since these are 4k it looks quite small and stupid. I believe since none of these photos exceed 5mb Imgur does not do it's own stupid compression so these photos should look as they did when I compressed them on my PC. Apologies if it is rough, I was using a new technique I was not familiar with to save time. Usually it takes around 3-5 hours for me to get something like that done, this only took about an hour or two.
