Krugmar's Work Force

Vagud stepped out of the Gorkil clan hall and into the bright midday sun, holding a length of parchment filled with neat, ornate writing. He let out a loud shout, signaling for his brothers to come gather in front of his clan hall. Once a sizable crowd has gathered, the Yazgurten cleared his throat and began to speak in a booming voice.

“As the Yazgurten, at the request if our Rex Drokon’Ugluk, I have been tasked with trying to improve all sorts of matters in Krugmar. The economy, production, trade, and so on. What I have here in my hand describes the reforms I will be putting in place to improve our nation. These reforms mainly focus on you, the workers and the people of Krugmar, to make our land rich.”

Quotas

Workers in Krugmar are assigned yearly (read: weekly) quotas based on their jobs. These quotas are subject to change based on the needs of not just the Rex or the Yazgurten but of its populace at large. These quotas are designed to meet the needs of the nation while spreading these requirements out over the populace so that people do not become reliant on one single person or that person is not overworked. People who exceed their quotas are given rewards based on both how far they go over the quota and if they do it consecutively. Rewards can range from minas to green or other luxury items to higher grade materials or tools for their profession.

If matters come up where someone does not feel they are able to meet their quota, speak with the Yazgurten about adjusting the quota for that year or notify him of why you might be unable to meet the quota. Having your quota not met without any explanation given to the Yazgurten beforehand will result in a stern warning. Not meeting your quota again will result in minor punishment such as community service (working on the city or other public works). Not meeting your quota again will result in more severe punishments such as branding.

Pairing

The work force of Krugmar works under the use of a pairing system and sharing resources for the betterment of the nation. All Uruks enrolled in this system, which should be every citizen of Krugmar, will be paired up with up to two other workers based off of their professions. These people are expected to work together in order to fulfill their quotas and to help each other improve in their professions. You are expected to try and get along with your pair, no matter the clan. New partners will be assigned only if one of the previous partners dies or becomes indisposed.

Trade

With these reforms, a large amount of the focus and importance has been set upon Krugmar. And while yes, the nation's needs are extremely important and we need our workers to help in fulfilling those needs, the current Yazgurten is a big believer in trade and encouraging Uruks to partake in it. And as such, Uruks who seek to open shops, either abroad or in Krugmar, will have lower quotas and receive assistance from the Yazgurten in opening up and becoming profitable. If an Uruk chooses to open up a shop abroad, they may receive assistance from the Yazgurten to help in paying for the shop.
