Some rejoiced, some wept, some instantly perished in their loyalty to the Emperor's lost cause. The earth tore asunder and fire licked the edges of Johannesburg, consuming all inside. An entire era and generation was consumed in that moment. Years of an Empire's legacy, wealth, dominion, and history, wiped away. For loyalist or rebel, for who's plight it matters not: the world would not be the same. And as the sun sets on the Johannian legacy, a sun rises above a freer world; for better or for worse.
