A KNIGHTLY CENSUS OF THE REALM

 

 

By command of the Knight Paramount and His Majesty, the King of Lotharingia, a census shall be taken of the Realm’s gentry.

 

In order to sufficiently document the current gentry of the realm and any future that may arise, all those who hold Knighthood in the Realm are directed to reply to these notices so that they may be officially acknowledged. All those who file a response should then make themselves known to His Majesty at court, ready and willing to swear their renewed vows. They must attend with their intended liege lord, and be ready to receive sufficient lands.

 

Let it be known that all Knights must also undergo a physical examination to ensure they are worthy of the title, and those that believe they have reason to become a Knight must also undergo such. The Knight enfeoffed with such a task is Ser Roland, and all would-be Sers should contact him.

Even after all the Stauntbucks supporters left… Twice. Even after Lord Huntley was executed. Also when Caleb and everyone else in the military left. Not to mention the time when Adelard von Brandt took over Halsworthy even though he brought no men with him. Even after Courland once again rose to fight the Empire. Even after von Brandt left for Courland. Even after Ser Otto stole Metz and Lorraine rebelled from the Empire. Verily, the only person that’s stood by during more of this than I have is Ian Highwind.
