Can lotc file for Not-for-profit status? In which case you can throw the word donation around and there's nothing they can do to prevent you as that would not be legal. And donors would get a tax break!

 

We can totally still accept donations, but if we give people perks in game it's not a donation, but a purchase.

The update would probably be no progress or something relating to it. I'm sure they'll tell us once more information is there.

The Blacklist will be the death of this server. We went from having 200+ players on daily, to barley topping 100 at peak times. Remove crowns, whatever Mojang says for them to lift the Blacklist, we aren't the ones with the bargaining chips here. The server won't be able to survive if this persists, and in all honesty it already may be too late, as who knows if lifting the Blacklist will guarantee pre-Blacklist numbers, but it needs to go ASAP because there has been a steady decline. It's been a month since this whole fiasco started and from what it seems, very little has happened, the last updated was a week ago! If what I am hearing is true, and the reason we've been blacklisted this long is a sole, lethargic staff member, then that person needs to be removed and maximum cooperation need be given to Mojang.

Why have we stopped receiving updates? What has caused such a drastic change in progress, or in communication with Mojang? Regardless of numbers online it's extremely unprofessional to just leave this unresolved or unattended.
