The Priesthood has Reopened!

 

Sa’vi Children of Metztli, this is Mukar addressing the population of the village. For a long time the priesthood has gone without recruitment, thus leading to the declining numbers within it and ultimately the lack of upholding the faith. Due to this it is Mukar’s belief that we have put out goddess to shame, and such she has turned her gaze away from us and took her magical boons away. But do not despair, for if we wish for Metztli’s guidance and magical boons, we must show true and whole devotion. But to do that we require priests and priestesses. It should also be noted that if we show such devotion and get our magical boons returned, or news ones bestowed upon us, the most devoted will most probably be gifted them first and share them with the others. So you should show your true devotion and prove yourself to her.

 

As part of the Trimvirate, Camactli and Sage of Metztli, Mukar has constructed a temple and many other facilities to further our faith and delve back into our tradition. The main temple building is located through the kharajyr head and maw located to the left of the staircase which takes you up to the main area and crossroads. Once you head down the lift you are taken to the main temple area, this temple may seem familiar to those who were from Karakatua, Anthos. This is because Mukar has chosen to use that design and replicate it as it was practical and had no flaws. If you head further into the temple and head down the lift behind the altar, you will be taken down to the school of Metztli. This is where lessons, public gatherings, meetings and other matters can be done within, after this is Mukar’s office, this is where you may contact him if you so wish.

 

Now with these new temple grounds constructed, Mukar has decided it be a suitable time to reopen the Priesthood for potential Priests and Priestesses to sign up and join to further spread our faith and culture. It should be noted, as of current we do not have Metztli’s magical gifts, however that is not needed to spread our faith. Those who wish to join the Priesthood should fill in an application below and drop it off in Mukar’s office, he will get back to you. There may or may not be a uniform so if you are unhappy to do that, you should consider whether you are suited towards the position.

Reasons for joining the priesthood: While the Kharajyr community is small, I plan to stay with it through thick and thin. I'd like to help it in any way I can, and the revival of the Priesthood seems good cannon-fodder for it. ICly, Nani had already converted to Metzli, and found it only suitable to join the Priesthood as to apply the teachings onto herself and the responsibilities that her title came with.

It's been a long time since he has been back working with the kha instead of against them. However with his returned youth Tepah is taking this is a command to once more be faithful to the great moon mother.
