The most noble King Lothar I Augustus of Lotharingia has fallen terminally ill, and has thus abdicated his position as King. Given the minority of his brother and heir, Philip Owyn, until such a time as the new King is within his majority and has attained his fourteenth year, Mr. Paul Burke, shall serve as Regent of Lotharingia-Savoy as decided by his brother and the Queen-Mother.

 

He shall be aided in his task by the Prince of Savoy and the rest of the Privy Council who serve in their tenure as aides to the Crown and in this time as an important body of advisors to help guide the new King until such time as he may be fully coronated in his own right and govern without any aid.
