herculean_wud 3662 Share Posted May 2, 2017 hello its wud basically ye what pyro did wasnt particularly nice, nor neccessary, and overall v scummy, no matter how much of a (rudeword) lady rebecca is but tbh the staffs responses were not warranted AT ALL, that **** said by cablam and ski just proves the shitiness of the staff team and we need an overhaul rn (wud4owner?) at the end of the day, if you cant deal w/ something w/o being a W A N K E R (whilst in a position where seriousness and composition is of the utmost importance) no matter if the person is a friend or not, then you shouldnt be on the ******* team. i mean really an FM of all people chatting **** like that over skype when he ******* nails ppl for doing that **** over the forums, bit rich ennit (yes ik this is also v rich coming from me because i am a dickhead, but hey im not staff) so yes, gradual staff team overhaul please, give new 'uns the oppurtunity to show the community what they can do, keep the trials we have now as trials though, and upgrade a few of the new gms who are competent/ willing to do so, to admin. the staff teams = circlejerk rn and its sickening tbh. idk why i made this it will probs be completely disregarded cuz i dont really tend to involve myself in this stuff also have some music: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Blundermore 2741 Share Posted May 2, 2017 Can't see this turning into a flame war at all. Perhaps this whole event outlines three key things. One is that the staff are not infallible. Nor are they always in the right. What the likes of ski king etc did unfortunately happens all too often in the past. Two, Greater care should be taken to actually protect information you yourself spread onto the Internet. If you're using a public Skype account that people you don't know will see... don't put your ******* picture on it. In fact just don't put pictures up of yourself on anywhere where the public can access it. Three. Don't be utter gobshites to each other over a game of building blocks. That goes to both the players and the staff. You're ultimately here to play a game. Remember that next time. Relax. Stop taking yourselves so seriously. That goes for everyone staff and players alike. I suppose a fourth point should be stop being so fixated on the drama and calm down. Making more and more of these posts solves nothing really. Gridlock 1033 Share Posted May 2, 2017 I personally think we should bring in people from outside of LOTC with experience as staff. Get them to moderate and only moderate. The fact that we have staff who have personal interests in people of the community makes them more prone to outbursts like this. Had someone doxxed me, I can guarantee you that Ski and Cablam would not have replied the way they did. It's entirely to blame on personal relations with the both parties involved, wether they are good or bad they certainly influenced the manner in which the two gentlemen dealt with the situation.
