[Reward] Vanishing Crafts - Seeking Information

Hello Denizens of Axios,

 

The Development Team is seeking information on a bug that we have recently been getting reports of. Essentially, crafts are vanishing from workstations. If you have any specific information, please share it on this thread. We need to know what workstations, how long the craft time was, if you left it sitting, if it was over a restart, left overnight, etc.

 

Information leading to this bug being fixed will result in skill tomes being rewarded. This does not mean all information will be rewarded, but if it is very helpful then we will.

I left an luminous arum sword, took 7:30 and i left it for about 10 and a restart happened and when i came back 2-3 minutes after the restart i couldn't "claim" the sword and my anvil is stuck on the page

2 thanhic ice boxes, tinkers post. 5 hour craft each. Put them on in the evening (CST time) and left them over night. The next morning, there was nothing on my tinkers post.

I left 21 buckes of water in a cauldron overnight, the craft would have been 20 minutes but the cauldron ate my stuffs overnight :P

Stop taking my work away. Plus kowa there's a most likely during times around restarts. Server data isn't saving again.

I had 64 sand being turned into gunpowder on a tinkerstable which took 6+ days which vanished. 

 

I recommend checking on restarts if any save files of crafting is being lost. This might mean manual restarts have to be done to trial/test this bug. Perhaps you have a floating pointer or endless array.

This is a PM I send to Gus after finding out this bug was present(I think I was the first to report it)

 

Upon logging onto my main account of Hedgehug to check on a craft I found that the enchant (protection) was gone. Logging onto my alt of Daddyhedge I found a craft of multiple empty runes gone, logging onto my tinker alt of Cestryon I found a 10 hour craft of 2 iceboxes gone. I also checked the tinker table one of my people (kitsuneprincess) uses to craft tnt for days on end - to find it unused aka the craft got whiped

 

Hedgehug - Protection enchant
DaddyHedge- 8 empty runes
Cestryon - 2 iceboxes
Kitsuneprincess - 9 TnT

My friends and I once put some crafting in the evening and didn't find anything to claim the day after.

We lost:

4 upright wooden rod

2 different enchanted books (one was unbreaking and the other, I'm not sure, sharpness)

1 Aengulic eye

If needed I can tell you exactly where are the working stations used

Kowa, tinker stands appear to be doing this, I had an icebox being made then poof it was gone after my nap. The same occured with my tanned leather in my leather-working station, may want to check over that real quick. Perhaps it is data that is just getting corrupted or old, not entirely sure as I'm not very good with coding but it's worth taking a look into it.

Not only Tinker stands, stone mason tables as well. I had around 30ish crude Thanhium being turned into refined Thanhium for 15 hours and it was gone when I went to check this. I think it's crafts that take an extremely long time with multiple items.

TnT, 4 days craft, left for 4 days to craft

Common factor is the tinker post, possibly a glitch with the new staves? Im not sure.
