A MISSIVE TO THE ASCENDED

 

"Let it be known, that the individual known as Azoth Hawksong is henceforth under the protection of the Paladins of Xan. An attempt on Azoth, is an attempt on the Paladins, and our Lord, which will be met in kind. We will hear what Azoth Hawksong has to say, for his accusations on the Ascended are grave, and will not be blanketed. With the Brotherhood of Xan, with it, the Prophet of Xan, declaring this formal piece, does the Dominion of Malin also declare the protection of Azoth Hawksong."

Once hearing of such things, Ravondir runs his hand through his hair, shaking his head in dissappointment and confusion. He stands still for a moment, contemplating on what he should do about such a situation, before saying,

After standing still a few moments more, Ravondir finds his resolve, and sets off.

This is genuinely hypocritical of him." he grumbled, before making his way back to making potions. Afterwards throwing a copy of Azoth's leaflet into a stone cauldron of Nether's Wrath, going aflame and disintegrating into the potion.

They stood for Crumena when he regularly raided our living place and slaughtered his allies for fun, and let Ian be their leader for a long time, who was known for being agressive and threatened to throw people with differing opinions over their walls and to their death. Azoth has spread lies, but even more importantly, he has lashed out against his friends and family over reasons he could have just spoken to us about and met little punishment. Disconnection is not death, and should not be treated like it is. I can only hope that, eventually, people will see reason.... This shouldn't have to be something that requires action of all the orders."

A letter is sent by a brown bird to each Holy Order: The Ascended, the Paladins, and the Clerics. It reads:

 

Dear friends.

 

You all seem to misunderstand the intention of such a piece. Yes, the Ascended have aided others and yes I have made mistakes. And yet I recall myself constantly being the one to plead with Selina and Heial to try and find cures, not simple and cheap fixes. Take Lefkos, for example. He was 'cured' multiple times yet persisted to harm our Order. So, what did they decide? To take him as a slave to do menial tasks for a short while. The purpose of my leaflet was not to harm the Order, only call out those in power who are children in the face of opposition and simply want it gone. Heial, the Master Sage, is not one of them as I stated before. He is simply being told lies by the likes of Selina and Belestram.

 

I do not wish to incite war between the two, but I will not hide my views or the facts from either. With this, I allow a parchment containing four questions to be sent to me from each Order to be responded to. Feel free to insult me, as it will only ruin the use of a question.

 

That is all. Do not explode into conflict, simply fix what is broken.
