Guest Brian Share Posted September 19, 2011 Hello all you dwarfs! All of this will be in ooc so be prepared. As some may know we are going to be migrating to a new world after some time. In light of this I have decided to release information on the Dwarf status in this new world. We shall be starting a fresh capital all new and designed by myself and a group of architects I have been selecting with the help from the next head in the project OmtraSpectral. Our ideas are developed very "deeply" ( hint hint ) but we are open to suggestions! Our Ideas So Far - NO DWARFS ABOVE GROUND - Two giant gate entrances - Cavern Capital with other caverns for other sections - Housing build up into the cavern ( Higher class ) and below in the depths of the cavern ( Lower Class ) - Tomb for all those influential dwarfs lost - Capital haning over the hole on the main cavern - Most sections integrated into the main one to keep traffic up - Various mines to keep it as our main trade ( Mines at different ore qualities and quantities ) - Stone forest - Mountain Biome will bring a lack of trees promoting trade due to no tree farms - Bridges over the caverns and only way around are the bridges - Tavern and meeting Hall in Huge back stalagmite - Giant forge under the castle with lava spewing from the castle down the the bottom of the cavern where the forge is Idea credits so far : Myself, Omtra, Sue, Hiebe, Belin, and Algrim Any other ideas would be very appreciated! Hiebe 2493 Share Posted September 19, 2011 My Ideas -dwarves live underground except for a few (ie the forest dwarves) and a few farmers (1-2) -and dwarf living above ground (besides those above) are exiled/banished from the kingdom -king has all say in the governemt (please dont annoy him with stupid questions) -clan/nobility houses -high-middle-lower income houses -more jobs --farmers --lumberjacks --bakers --smiths --miners (duh) --merchants --guards --army men (Legion?) --Inns/ Bartenders -Epic statues and carvings in our capital (Omithel?) -Deeps roads that expand into the (future) colonies -More mines (1 public, 2 permit, 1 very rich and costly permit mine [for wealthy]) -More Laws -1-2 new colonies (once our numbers go up) -weekly checks of all the homes in our capitl city to see who is active -slums area (living there is not a good thing) -Capital City name? (Ideas?) (Also I'm going to be regulating the dwarven forum a lot more. Double post, off topic, flaming, anything annoying (ie trolling) Will result in temp. ban on forum access and even perma ban.) Hiebe 2493 Share Posted September 19, 2011 true but where would the forest dwarves live? with the elves also..... i wouldnt trade my ores for wood.... i mean maybe for torches and stuff but idk we will see also maybe a inner city and outter city? where only the rich can get into the inner for more expensive trading? williewonka01 45 Share Posted September 19, 2011 I like the idea of all dwarfs living underground. All expanding, or new towns should also be underground. While keeping all of them connected through a railway to the capital city. Area's for trading, a tavern and entertainment of some sort. A few things I am working on now are adding more jobs, with a more role-played economy. A way for dwarfs to enjoy mining more might make the mine private. But the cost of the mine would be very cheap. So I could then pay more for ores to purchase from miners. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Perhaps the entrance could be within a cave? So the city is completely submerged, allowing guards to work out of the sunlight.Im thinknig of something much like this concept painting...)) ((I hope the king’s castle will be much larger than the old one.
